Camping Dordogne & Lot Valley

Located in south-western France, the Dordogne and Lot Valley regions are incredibly picturesque, with medieval towns and stunning countryside all around.

With many cycling and walking trails, many argue that these are best way to see the area. When you’re taking in the gorgeous views across the region, you won’t regret the exertion.

Surrounded by beautiful woodland, on a small hillside you’ll find the perfect site for getting close to nature. You’ll be just 300 metres from the River Vezere, with fishing and canoeing and there are plenty of prehistoric wonders to explore in the area.

With its riverside location, water sports facilities and family friendly atmosphere, Soleil Plage is a very popular site. There is plenty to do nearby with Marqueyssac hanging gardens and Domme 5 miles away. Early booking is recommended.

This site is within reach of some of the most popular attractions in the Dordogne. The spectacular prehistoric rock dwellings of Les Eyzies are just 12 miles away and Sarlat, the most famous Capital of the region is 25 miles away.

In its own wooded valley, with a watermill on its fishing lake, this quaint site is surrounded by history and things to do. Local markets are held regularly and Cateljaloux is 7 miles away with a medieval convent, thermal spa and swimming lake.
