Camping Picardy

Superb coastlines with long sandy beaches and white cliffs (yes, they have them on the French side of the channel too!) and an array of picturesque seaside resorts make Picardy an ideal holiday destination.

Picardy really is a ‘must’ for history buffs with modern and ancient history at every turn. In particular, there are many memorials, battle sites, cemeteries and museums commemorating the tragic events of the Great War 1914-1918 and we especially recommend a visit to the region’s capital Amiens with its impressive gothic cathedral.

La Bien Assise

La-Bien-Assise

Don’t let its closer proximity to the ferry and channel tunnel in Calais fool you, this site has a really rural feel that will make you feel a million miles away from home. Take things easy at La Bien Assise and explore the local countryside and historic towns.
