The Western Mediterranean is a delightful area of France. It has a countryside feel whilst being within easy reach of cities like Montpellier, Narbonne and Perpignan.

If relaxation is what you’re looking for then this region is perfect for you, with many of our sites having pool facilities meaning you don’t have to leave the site if you don’t want to. Just 15 miles from the Spanish border, this site makes a great base camp for journeys further afield. 10 miles away you’ll find the castle and iconic architecture of Collioure which is perfect for a day trip to the coast.

The local vineyards, markets, medieval Cathar castles, cave paintings and prehistoric remains are all must see attractions in the area. Coach excursions are also available to Barcelona, Andorra and other places of interest.

Whilst there’s plenty to do on this site, there are a few places well worth a visit just a short drive away. Carcassonne is a double-walled fortified medieval town with a 12th-century castle, the fortress of Salses isn’t far and worth a visit.
