has the following facilities on or around the site.

This is a good site if you like walking on the beach and coast paths. A bus goes to Brest from outside the camp but that is the only direction it takes. You really need a car if you want to see the locality. Club pitches are at the bottom of the site, next to the local beach car park (hidden behind large conifers). This fills with local wind surfers/footballers/moped riders each night. At weekends they have beach parties with a lot of late fireworks. Best try and get a pitch near the top of the camp if you like to sleep early.

Been to about 8 CCC sites now in Normandy and Brittany and have been impressed by all, with this being the exception.
The only thing this site has going for it is the beach access and superb beach location. We know it has no swimming pool, bar, etc like the larger sites that but to spend more than a few days there could be a struggle if you are active.
Reception were friendly and handed out the local and site info as usual but failed to remind us of free wifi, a bar and restaurant around the corner off site, and a bus service into Brest. Blame ourselves a little for this for not doing our homework but would have been nice to have been told.
Wifi we were told on the last day was virtually useless and was described as possibly being switched on and off as told when to use either early of a morning or late at night.
Toilets were cleaned everyday, a bit old, but were a bit small for the size of site.Women queuing for a 6 minute shower for 80cents a time at one stage.
Dog owners to blame for this one....dog mess. It was everywhere. Full marks for the site for providing both doggie bags and bins on posts around the site and even signage but were not taken advantage of.
On our last night "pranksters" decided to unplug a whole board of electrics at 5am in the morning. We found out by the kettle not working the next morning and fortunately our fridge automatically switched to gas operation.
If like an English couple nearby to us hadn't have seen there fridge flashing, could have lost a lot of fridged food. They were up from 5am inspecting their van electrics as I nearly did.
I was dumbfounded when last resort checked the board to find plugs all on the floor. I was going to take up with reception on way out but reception was packed as we were leaving. Don't think this would have got far with them anyway.
I think as we were used to a high standard of site, this took us back a little.
Don't think I'll use this site again

Quiet site, very relaxing. easy to cycle to next village or cycle route to the town where the market is held on a Wednesday. Lovely walks in either direction. Very friendly staff who were fluent in French, English and German. Will certainly return next year.
