Busy, yet relaxed, the site has something for all nature-lovers – young children love the pet farm, while the active enjoy the group walks or cycling through the woods, and for everyone the pool provides a great area to relax in, with panoramic views of the wooded hills and valley. Children are especially well catered for on site with organised games, shows and indoor discos in high season. In low season this is a lovely haven and a convenient base for exploring the best parts of the Dordogne and Lot valleys, both within easy reach.

Last time we stayed, four years ago we loved it here. It's a great location. Unfortunately since then it seems to have gone downhill, far too busy so it was noisy and the swimming pool was packed. In this respect you'd be ok off season but the toilet blocks were in a poor state of repair and not cleaned frequently or thoroughly enough. Restaurant is excellent though , not cheap but top notch food.

Large site situated on hillside. Access up large winding road.

This review is for La Paille Basse

Large site situated on hillside. Access up large winding road. Good facilities for families. Music can be loud and heard quite a way from club. Our pitch was up stepped hillside and approach road steep. Trouble accessing pitch. Really not a suitable pitch to allocate to a large caravan. Pitch big enough but nearly burned clutch out getting on it. Debris from trees constantly hitting roof. Mobile homes and camping pitches spread out through woodlands. Lots of attractions worth visiting. Loved scenery. Shops within easy reach. Shop on site small and little expensive.
