We are booked in here for another week, however, are seriously considering moving. Despite being high season everything shuts between 12-2 ( we have been to France many times & never had this on any other campsite) the coffee shop, pool, bar & reception are all closed over lunchtime & the bar & cafe closed 3 nights a week. You cannot go in the pool in swim shorts only trunks so had to drive 30 miles to buy some. The pitches are very unlevel & as we had had quite a bit of rain they are very muddy & wet!!
The staff are not particularly helpful either.
We stayed in another sight belonging to the same company 2 years ago & it was superb.
Our 3 children are rather disappointed.

We arrived at this site after a journey of 300 miles and we were hot and tired. The lady on reception was pleasant and spoke English but she seemed to be under pressure as she told us our pitch number and handed us a small badly photocopied plan of the site and that was that. We have been to sites booked through your club in Northern Ireland, England,The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and other parts of France and we have always been impressed with the welcome and always someone has taken us to our pitch and shown us where the electric, water, waste water, etc is.This site needs to look at its welcome and consider that their guests may be tired after a long journey and give more information. The road in and out of the site is narrow and only wide enough for one vehicle. As we found our pitch we realised it would be too tight to take the car and caravan in together and, as we had passed the entrance and could not move back or forward due to other cars in front and behind us, we took the caravan off the car and used our mover. The other drivers waiting were not very happy but we had no option. Then we looked for the electric hook up but could not find it so we had to ask a neighbour who said it was in his pitch diagonally opposite to us, our electric cable just reached, he also showed us were the water was. This is the first time we have arrived on a site and been left to find everything ourselves. The bin area was very untidy and although the bins were emptied I saw empty mussel shells on the ground the entire length of our stay. Other than the 2 ladies who worked in reception we never saw anyone who seemed to be looking after the site. I often thought what would we do in an emergency outside the reception hours.
Please note that men/boys are not allowed in the pool wearing swim shorts they must wear trunks. I saw a little boy opposite to us in tears as he only had swim shorts.

Only had a brief stay at this site, however, loved what we saw. Site is close to the beach and a very pretty town.
Staff were extremely helpful, letting us in late when we were delayed due to the car breaking down, helping us manoeuvre the 'van into the pitch when we got it stuck on a hedge and attempting to jump start our car the following morning when the battery had died (it wasn't a good 24 hours for us!).
We stayed on pitch 13 which was very spacious and private. We arrived just in time to sample the chips from the snack bar which were good and the boys had time for a quick dip in the covered pool in the morning while we were waiting for the AA to arrive.
Only negatives are the usual - having to walk around site with your own loo roll and no toilet seats. However, facilities were very clean.
