This is a beautiful site that is lovingly looked after. The games room is enormous with tv, setees, table tennis, games, magazines, travel information and so on. The grounds are lovely. The facilities are old but spotless. There is no motorhome service waste, but a bucket does the job! The C&CC makes it look as if there are no hardstandings, there are and it is worth phoning if you have a heavy motorhome. The circular walks from next door to the site are fantastic. The recumbent stone circle is wonderful. There is a well stocked store in the village, two pubs, a postoffice/toy shop and a craft shop. There is no mobile signal but you can get one in the village. The staff were wonderful and the area absolutely gorgeous.

Our first time at Tarland,we visited a lot of the towns and vilages around the area, the shower block was dated but clean as always on club sites.we came up the B979 and the B9094 as advised the next day the B9094 was closed for a week and used the A97 at Dinnet then the B9119 instead, this was a much better road to the site although slightly longer but quicker and easier especially towing. Mobile signal was only available just outside the site but we knew it wasn't good before we went ,the TV signal was excellent though.Plenty of super markets around for food and cheap diesel.

This is a beautiful site in a wonderful area. Lots of walking and cycling to do. Site is small but not cramped and facilities are great. (Must be the best recreation room of any club site!) Very well looked after by friendly and helpful staff. There is no motorhome grey water discharge point but I believe that it is planned. There are several NT properties in the area, as well as a lovely nature reserve at Dinnet, 5 miles away. We intend going back for a more extended stay as there is so much of interest in the area.
