Overview

    Top site for beaches

Our campsite is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast.

The coves and beaches of west Wales are easily explored from our Club Site at Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion. You can see red kites - a success story in conservation - from here and there are dolphins off the coast close by. The area is a nature-lover's paradise and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Worth Noting

Most pitches are sloping. Levellers and chocks are required. The site also has a boules pitch.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it from the fish stall.

When I telephoned to check availability the day before we wanted to arrive I was told I would have to book as there was only one pitch available so I booked not wanting to travel 200 miles and be turned away. Imagine then when we arrived on site to find not even a third of the site full the lies told very obvious and leaves a sour taste , there is no need to tell lies like that enough to say X number of pitches and if you choose not to make a booking you take the chance on availability.

Fantastic sights to visit within easy reach by car. Local safe beaches and towns were great. We saw many dolphins in the bay at New Quay almost every evening. Devils Bridge walk highly recommended and a visit to Cardigan Island Farm enjoyed by all of us where we also saw 7 seals, 2 dolphins and many chicks being taken care of on the island inhabited by lots of birds. Country side views were fantastic, we would certainly return to this part of Wales

Stayed here during May, half term, site was probably 60% occupied.

Stayed here during May, half term, site was probably 60% occupied. Most of site slightly slopping but as in a tent managed to have a flat as possible pitch. Wardens very friendly on arrival and showing us the pitch. One main shower/ toilet block which was clean, nice hot water. About a 5 minute drive into top car park in New Quay.. would have been worth it to but a weekly car park ticket rather than daily. Boat rides from New Quay to see the dolphins. We also went to Devils falls and down to cardigan.
