    Top site for beaches

Our campsite is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast.

The coves and beaches of west Wales are easily explored from our Club Site at Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion. You can see red kites - a success story in conservation - from here and there are dolphins off the coast close by. The area is a nature-lover's paradise and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Worth Noting

Most pitches are sloping. Levellers and chocks are required. The site also has a boules pitch.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it from the fish stall.

This is our first visit to this site and we hope we will come again next year.

This is our first visit to this site and we hope we will come again next year. The whole atmosphere here is relaxed and we feel very welcome. The site is well-placed for coast and country and there is a lot to do in the area. Such a lovely site deserves to have the toilet facilities updated; although kept spotless, the tired, worn facilities are well past their working life.

A good site for the town of New Quay, just a few minutes drive away. Nice pub at the end of the lane, a short walk away. Toilets were very clean and regularly inspected by the team on site. To summarise an excellent and thoroughly enjoyable week spent there.

Stayed for 3 nights camping (with hook up) and stayed another night because it was so nice. One adult and 12 yr old daughter - in the luxury of an 8 man tent! Really friendly and helpful owners. Showed us to the site and gave us a choice (some pitches slope bit more than others). Shop on site is fine for essentials - larger shop in village maybe half a mile walk down a quiet lane (tho closes for lunch and at 530!). Pub at end of lane - pretty good food tho not all day (starts at 1800 at night). Perfectly kept grounds and the cleanest and warmest showers we have experienced. There seemed to be always somebody cleaning/cutting grass/maintaining. Always somebody around to ask for advice - I think the owners live on site opposite the shop/office. There's a really good info room with leaflets/maps etc. Only noise is from the sheep and birds! There is an area for children to play ball games in one of the corners of the site. We didn't walk to New Quay but would do next time. Great location for coast between Aberystwyth and Cardigan. Plenty to see and do rain or shine (we had four days of perfect sunshine!). If you get a chance to go to Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Visitor Centre do so - there is a truly stunning site of 150+ red kites being fed daily at 1500. Its approx 45 mins drive but dont use a Sat nav as we had an interesting trans mountain route down a very scary road! I would say its the best camp site we have stayed in and hope to return.

From the minute we arrived all of the staff were so helpful & friendly, whilst we were getting the van sorted the staff came round and asked if we were okay, never had that before. all of the amenities are one of the best we have seen. we have been going to New Quay on and off for 40 years and stopped on various sites but we will return to this one. we were asked where we even wanted to pitch, we did ask the furthest away from the play area , to which we got , however it didn't stop the children from coming to close to us, so close in fact that one child fell off her bike into our awning, we did tell them not to be so close to other people's area's in future. Lovely stay & to boot we got the glorious sunshine, a great rest was had.
