    Great site for families

Enjoy wonderful Northern Irish hospitality in this beautifully situated campsite in County Down.

Mountains, coast and countryside are all accessible from our beautiful Club campsite at Delamont Country Park, in Northern Ireland.

Our campsite sits adjacent to the stunning Delamont Country Park in a peaceful, rural location. Bordered in part by trees Delamont is a level site offering Club Service Pitches, some now benefiting from the addition of hard standings. There is also a modern washblock and a small site shop.

The country park is ideal for stretching the legs. Walk up the hill to the Strangford Stone and you’ll be rewarded with fantastic views over Strangford Lough to the Mourne Mountains. In addition to the fantastic walking, the park is perfect for family picnics, barbecues and games with specially designated areas. You’ll also find Ireland’s only fresh-air gym, an outdoor adventure playground, miniature railway and heronry. The Lough itself is a birdwatchers paradise – see Brent Geese, Knot and Terns – and enjoy a lough-side walk.

Killyleagh just over a mile from the campsite is a pretty town with its own ‘fairytale’ castle and a selection of shops and restaurants. Belfast is also accessible from the campsite and, for a quieter day out, head to the beautiful Mourne Mountains in the south east or head to the Giant’s Causeway on the north coast in County Antrim.

Please note: There are no grass-only pitches at this campsite so an additional pitch fee applies. However, there is a small tent area with standard pitches, which can be booked by contacting the site.

Worth Noting

There is very limited car parking space for second cars or visitors - more parking is available in Delamont Country Park. Please be aware that some of the Hardstanding pitches on this site comprise of a grass covered reinforced plastic hardstanding.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

As newbies to caravanning, we arrived at Delamont to be warmly greeted by the site managers, Paul and Gillian. Site managers friendly and helpful (I did need a little help setting up - thank you). Facilities spotless and site well maintained. Site is right beside a large park for the kids. There is a Picnic area. Lovely walks and outdoor gym equipment. Perfect weather completed a great weekend with the family. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

A warm, friendly reception from Paul & Gillian always helpful and never too busy to have a chat. Sorry I scared the life out of you that Friday night! (Long story) Tidy, clean site with electric, waste & water hook-ups. One for the beginner* we had to move, the mains adaptor hose supplied for the aquaroll was too short to connect to the water supply at that specific pitch, Paul & Gillian were happy to oblige but it could cause problems if space was tight. The site surroundings,toilet/shower blocks were immaculate, However I don't understand why vehicles park on the grass, it must be a nightmare to maintain during wet spells, removing the grass and replacing it with gravel would be far more beneficial. TV reception was good if your wife loves her soaps. Fantastic Play-park in Delamont if you have kids. Great location for walking Strangford Lough/Mourne Mountains. Convenient location for shopping. Overall a site that has everything.
