Tregurrian is a great for watersports & people looking for a seaside holiday.

Camp at our Tregurrian Club campsite and you’ll be spoilt for choice of beaches to visit. There are fourteen close to our stunning campsite in the North Cornwall, located just north of the popular seaside town of Newquay.

Watergate Bay is the closest and is a short walk from the campsite along the South West Coastal Path. This two-mile stretch of golden sand is popular with families. The Atlantic swell here also makes it equally appealing to watersport lovers. The beach hosts annual surfing events too.

Surfers will also be drawn to Newquay for Fistral Beach which also hosts a number of events through the summer including surf championships, a fun dog show and the popular Boardmasters event which includes skate and BMX competitions, live music and competitive surfing. Other attractions of the town include Newquay Zoo, and the Lappa Valley Steam Railway and you could spot seals and dolphins in the harbour.

Our pretty Tregurrian campsite offers 90 level pitches. The well thought out site has immaculate faciliites including a handy wetsuit shower.

A few miles up the coast Padstow has some excellent restaurants, including one owned by celebrity chef Rick Stein while Watergate Bay is home to Jamie Oliver’s 15 Cornwall Restaurant.

Worth Noting

Please note, if you have more than one car or are visiting the site, you will need to either park at the site next door, or at the beach car park (half a mile away), both of which are chargeable.

This really did tick all our boxes apart from one.

This review is for Tregurrian

This really did tick all our boxes apart from one. The site itself is in a lovely location close to Watergate bay and all the Newquay and surrounding area has to offer.Even though we managed to overstay by one night Angela was very understanding and accommodating (even though the site was full). The only slight improvement I could ask for was a children's play area. I think an important part of the camping experience for kids is to be given a little more freedom than they are used to at home and a space to do it in. But this slight down side was far outweighed by all the positives. Clean, accessible facilities(I never queued once for a shower in 12 days, although the ladies did have the odd bottleneck at certain times). Friendly management, and fantastic weather. we really could not have asked for much more. We will be back.

This was our 4th summer holiday at the Tregurrian site.

This review is for Tregurrian

This was our 4th summer holiday at the Tregurrian site. Paul and Angie have continued to improve the site by moving the bins to a central location and adding recycling bins. The site is always clean and very tidy. There are strict rules regarding pets, ball games and pitching but these only add to the quiet enjoyable experience of the holiday. We have recommended the site to our friends and family who have also loved it. It seems sad that Paul and Angie have to move to another site next season as they are the best site managers we have come across. Their assistants were also helpful and friendly at all times. We highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to explore the wonderful surroundings.Thank you to Paul and Angie for helping to make this another wonderful holiday.

This campsite is suited to older people who want to read not have fun or speak to others it has a good location for watergate bay and it is clean. It is not suitable for children or pets as there are no facilities but they do charge for them. There are to many rules Enforce from moment of entry which creates a negative vibe. Clearly suited to visitors that fit in with militant rules that have no personalities.

This is our favourite site with our favourite managers.

This review is for Tregurrian

This is our favourite site with our favourite managers. We've been coming here for over ten years and can honestly say the past three years with Paul & Angie in charge have been the best. They are the most professional at all times and are the friendliest of any of the managers we have ever met at this site. They will surely be missed by a lot of the regular campers who use this site. I hope that we will find out where they are off to next year as they will surely be an asset to that site. Fingers crossed the replacements at Tregurrian live up to their reputation and continue with the good work that has been carried out on site over the past three years. The assistants are lovely and friendly too. The facilities are five star and this is down to the dedication from the team. Paul and Angie are so hard working from first thing until well into the evening and always happy just to chat or wave as we walk by. It's always sad to leave and that's because it's a perfect site in a perfect location. I love it!
