    Top site for cycling

A campsite dramatically located right on the edge of the country, on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall.

Situated on the Land’s End Penninsula, within a few miles of both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, is where you’ll find our pretty Sennen Cove Club campsite. Although a couple of miles north of Sennen Cove, the campsite does enjoy sea views over the cove from some pitches.

Gwynver Beach is a 25 minute walk from the campsite. The beach at Sennen is a 45 minute walk away from the campsite. From there, the energetic can walk over the coastal path to Land’s End, another 90 minutes away. Land’s End is England’s most westerly point and, as well as spectacular scenery, there are many family attractions including a 4D film experience and the Monsters of the Deep exhibition. Back in Sennen Cove you can learn to surf.

Our tranquil campsite has 72 pitches and all the facilities you need - a small play area for the kids, and a playing field for ball games; a small shop selling the basics, a laundry with washing machine and dryer with an iron and ironing board also available and an indoor washing up area.

The south coast of the peninsular offers Gwenver and Porthcurno, also the Telegraph Museum and the Minack cliff top theatre and Penzance with its historic harbour areas. Also, pretty out-of-the-way fishing coves, including Penberth, Mousehole and Newlyn, with its fish festival at the end of August.

North from the campsite, a pretty but very narrow, windy road leads through St. Just and Pendeen. There are some excellent walks around the old mine workings near to Botallack and the Geevor Mine, for those with an interest in this part of Cornwall's industrial past. Further afield, via Zennor, the pretty, but very busy, fishing port of St Ives with its Tate Gallery of modern art is worth a visit

Easy to find, bit of a tight turning into the site but take a wide bearth and will be ok. Facilities were spotless, staff very friendly, there is a small shop that sells a few bits and pieces. The staff are easily accessible should you need them. We walked down to Sennan Cove, got a bit lost but a beautiful Walk and then got the open topped bus back which stopped right outside the campsite gate, 6 for 2 of us. Really quiet and peaceful site, quite close to Lands end airport and there were frequent planes in and out but wasn't a bother. Only complaint was the weather, but seemed to be misty and drizzly at night, although not much we can do about that!!

We came to Sennen Cove site after an enforced break from using our van due to health reasons. This was very much a make or break trip. I am delighted to say that based on our experience we won't be selling the van yet. We nearly went to Trevedra and I am so glad we didn't as our experience might have been very different. The location is excellent and although we had some awful weather we were able to explore Cape Cornwall, Botallack and Pendeen and Sennen Cove itself. A lovely part of Cornwall we have not visited before (even though we live on the Roseland). Particular thanks to Martin and Debbie who really excel at their jobs and Martin helped me out with a problem with my gas cylinder even though it was embarrassing for me to have to ask for help!! We will be back!

This is a great site if you like walking also there are lots of attractions locally (just a short drive). The open top bus stops outside the entrance, goes all the way to St Ives and is a must. The amenities are clean and adequate but at peak times may get busy, we went in June and never had to wait. Fully recommend.
