You'll find lovely, tree-framed views on this relaxing campsite on the Roseland Peninsula in south Cornwall.

Beautiful beaches, stunning cliffs, pretty villages and quaint hamlets all make up Cornwall’s unspoilt Roseland Peninsula. It’s here you’ll find our charming Veryan Club campsite just off the Roseland Heritage Coast. The South West Coast Path is a mile and a half from site and the great beaches of Veryan - Carne Beach, Pendower Beach with East and West Portholland Beaches just a little further.

Our campsite is blessed with some stunning views across the peninsula’s rolling countryside. Its secluded location makes the site ideal for those wanting a relaxing break. A small lake, a field for children’s ball games, plus a TV and games room are in addition to the toilet/shower and laundry facilities found on site.

The mild climate in and around the Roseland Peninsula means plants flourish here. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, and the National Trust’s wonderful Trelissick Garden are testament to this.

Head to St Mawes, south of the campsite. From this pretty fishing village, catch the ferry to the seaside town of Falmouth. As well as great beaches, Flamouth offers the National Maritime Museum of Cornwal and Pendennis Castle.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Toilets/shower block well looked after and clean. Fish and chip van visits site twice a week. We got there just in time on Friday, 5.30-6.30. Staff really friendly and helpful. We used the Truro park and ride on the Saturday (£1 person) (Tregurra) and did a lovely boat ride from Truro to Falmouth then caught the train back - lovely. Also recommend Football Golf in St.Austell which we did on the sunday. Approximately 30 minute drive from campsite.

I was still writing my review when something went wrong with the web site (I always seem to have problems with this site) My review was submitted before I had finished without me doing anything. To continue. I found the surrounding countryside to be disappointing. The coast path is a mie and half away which is good and there a couple of beaches about 3 miles away, but apart from that the countryside is not very inspirinf being rather flat with narrow lanes with high hedge rows so that you cannot see any thing. It is nothing like the north west part of Cornwall. However as I said earlier the campsite itself is OK g

This a spacious site allowing plenty of room between units, the facilities are pretty good with a TV room and games room. The Gents toilets are adequate but require some maintenance as a couple of the WC,s are difficult to flush and a couple of cold taps don't work. The staff are pleasant and responsive.

We feel that the site would benefit from an extra toilet block, as it is a very extensive site.

We feel that the site would benefit from an extra toilet block, as it is a very extensive site. We always enjoy the club sites but would like to see more on the Pembrokeshire coast. We have been members for about 27 years and have visited 47 sites some more than once, and would like to see more site in the south and east of England.

“The site staff at Veryan could not have done more to make our stay an enjoyable one. The site is well maintained and kept tidy. Near to many local attractions, and also secluded walks and beaches, the site position means that most places of interest are within an hours journey in the car. We would recommend this site without hesitation.”
