You'll find lovely, tree-framed views on this relaxing campsite on the Roseland Peninsula in south Cornwall.

Beautiful beaches, stunning cliffs, pretty villages and quaint hamlets all make up Cornwall’s unspoilt Roseland Peninsula. It’s here you’ll find our charming Veryan Club campsite just off the Roseland Heritage Coast. The South West Coast Path is a mile and a half from site and the great beaches of Veryan - Carne Beach, Pendower Beach with East and West Portholland Beaches just a little further.

Our campsite is blessed with some stunning views across the peninsula’s rolling countryside. Its secluded location makes the site ideal for those wanting a relaxing break. A small lake, a field for children’s ball games, plus a TV and games room are in addition to the toilet/shower and laundry facilities found on site.

The mild climate in and around the Roseland Peninsula means plants flourish here. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, and the National Trust’s wonderful Trelissick Garden are testament to this.

Head to St Mawes, south of the campsite. From this pretty fishing village, catch the ferry to the seaside town of Falmouth. As well as great beaches, Flamouth offers the National Maritime Museum of Cornwal and Pendennis Castle

Our favourite site by far! Always feels sad when we have to up- sticks and leave for home.

Our favourite site by far! Always feels sad when we have to up- sticks and leave for home. Loads of beautiful places to visit (and re-visit!) within a relative short drive away. A good piece of advice is to purchase the Explorer map of the area (no.105) covering Falmouth & Mevagissey. This has proven to be invaluable in finding those off-the-beaten-track places and secluded beaches that abound in this part of the world. Truro well worth a visit on a wet or dry day and is only about twelve miles away. Great pub that does wholesome meals in Portloe, only just over five mins. away by car or can be easily reached by footpaths across lovely farmland in about thirty or forty mins. downhill on way there but uphill on way back to walk off the meal! Finally, Thanks to a great team who make the site the special site that it is to us, Dave & Lynn and their. very friendly assistants. Remember to let them know you appreciate all their hard work, a simple "Thank-You" goes a long way to make them feel that they have done a great job!!

A lovely site.

This review is for Veryan

A lovely site. Probably best if you have a small car to get about as there are some beautiful areas to see nearby, though quite hilly and tough for walking and cycling. I put the bike away after one attempt so the guide is a bit misleading as the roads are pretty treacherous, even for walking as not many paths by the road. We were in campervan, so not so good to drive around sight seeing once set up for camping. The bus seemed popular and bus stop nearby but we didn't try that. We did enjoy the walks but we are fairly fit. The nearby coastline is one of the prettiest I have ever seen and Portloe is idyllic if you enjoy photography and a good pub lunch! The fish and chips on Friday night at the site aren't bad either. The staff at the site were really helpful and lent us some temporary chocks as some of the site is sloping, Very nice clean site and feels less regimented than some others, which we liked.

This is a lovely peaceful site. All of the staff were very friendly.

This is a lovely peaceful site. All of the staff were very friendly. If you are sited on the hard-standing pitches at the top of the site you may experience some road noise, this can occur at anytime of the day or night. You also have the furthest to walk to the toilet block. The mobile signal is also very poor and you can only obtain a wi-fi signal in the games room. As per previous review, you will have to drive if you want to see the rest of Cornwall, once you are on the main roads it doesn't take too long to go anyway. If you are using a sat nav just be careful of some of the directions as some of the roads we ended up on were extremely narrow. A fish & chip van comes in on Friday night around 7.30 and the fish is really nice. We will add this to our sites to re-visit.

The site is very pleasant but well off the beaten track.

This review is for Veryan

The site is very pleasant but well off the beaten track. If you want to explore Cornwall other than the St. Mawes area you need to make lengthy car journeys. Some of the descriptions are slightly misleading e.g the site itself is pleasant with trees etc, but there are no real views over the surrounding countryside. It says "top site for cycling", but you need to be a fairly fit and intrepid cyclist to tackle the steep and winding lanes.
