Our lovely Club Site on the south Devon coast.

The South Hams offers a wonderful mix of coast, moorland and rolling hills and a range of activities to match from walking and cycling to sailing and surfing. For history lovers there are delights such as Totnes Castle and The South Devon Railway, while a range of arts and food festivals and sailing regattas will keep culture-vultures happy.

Where better to base yourself to enjoy these delights than at our lovely Dartmouth Club campsite. Aptly named as the attractive harbour town is just a five minute drive away, the site offer campers stunning sea views over Start Bay. Spacious pitches, a large camping field, family shower room and a children’s play area are among the facilities on offer.

There are beaches aplenty - Blackpool Sands is within walking distance – Slapton Sands, Torcross, Beesand Beach and Hall Sands are a short drive away.

Also easily accessed are Totnes, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. At the latter cross the River Dart to the pretty village of Kingswear and hop on board the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway for a ride along the Torbay coast. While on this side of the river, Greenway is a magical place to explore. Once the holiday home of Agatha Christie it is now managed by the National Trust.

Just returned from 11 nights at Dartmouth. A great site in a great location.

Just returned from 11 nights at Dartmouth. A great site in a great location. Lovely walks into Dartmouth (get the bus back if you dont like walking uphill!). Stoke Fleming is a nice village with a great pub (The Green Dragon) selling good food and great real ale - try Dartmoor Gaol Ale. You can access the pub without braving the narrow road via an alley at the back of the village green. There is no dog walk on site but contrary to a previous review there is a footpath on the opposite side of the road down to the village green. There are also field footpaths which can be accessed from a alley by the garage next door. Site team were welcoming and able to give good advice on local walks. Slapton sands and Torcross are great for walks and Beesands has a great fish resturant on the front which also does take away fish and chips. Will definately be returning

Yet another warm friendly welcome. Yet another site with clean facilities.

Yet another warm friendly welcome. Yet another site with clean facilities. Thank you to the site manager who helped me change my gas bottle. Lovely quiet site. Good for exploring the surrounding area. Pub at entrance to site is ok for a meal, but don't expect gourmet food. Will be back for a longer stay in 2014.

Excellent site, only disappointment was the laundry facilities which were let down by a very poor performing drier which swallowed a great deal of money to dry our washing.

The wardens were great, I arrived having foolishly followed my SatNav, which took me to Brixham and then Dartmouth via the tiny ferry. This bought me into Dartmouth and the tiniest streets we have ever been down or up. We had to reverse down one and finally decided the only way out was to follow a bus....so when I arrived at the site I was not at ease. The site is clean and the pitches very close to each other. The shower block is great, however there is no dog walk in site and to get to one, you have to walk along a fairly busy road for over 400 yards. I discovered that I had ripped off some of my trim and the plastic covering at the back of my motorhome.... Be warned Do Not Follow Your SatNav to this site.
