The Purbeck Hills, award winning beaches and a castle make this a popular family site.

Our Club campsite at Corfe Castle lies at the foot of the Purbeck Hills, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and has close proximity to the Blue Flag award-winning Studland beach with four miles of glorious sand and bustling Swanage with its pretty beach huts.  Lulworth Cove and the iconic Durdle Dor on the Jurassic Coastline are a must!

The campsite has an abundance of wildlife from badgers, owls and pretty moths to beautiful wild flowers such as bluebells and orchids.  It’s also near to the Arne RSPB nature reserve making this a great spot for lovers of the outdoors.

You will find a beach if you walk in any direction from the campsite and nearby Coombe Bridge offers a marine reserve and snorkelling whilst Poole Harbour has watersports for the more adventurous!  A leisurely 15 minute walk from site finds you at Corfe Castle, a stunning ruin from the English Civil War whose iconic silhouette can be seen from miles around. The pretty grey stone village of Corfe Castle lies in the shadow of the romantic castle ruins. Around its square is a cluster of tearooms, trinket shops and pubs.

Our family-friendly campsite offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches, some of pitches are under trees. There’s an on-site shop with fresh bread and newspapers delivered daily, a family shower room and wet room for disabled visitors.

Please use the downloadable map available here, rather than satnav to ensure you access the site via A351.

Motorhomes must be booked onto hardstandings.

Corfe Castle currently holds an AA 4 Pennant Award.

Beautiful location, lovely local walks.

Beautiful location, lovely local walks. Pitch under trees and great for shade during this heatwave. Trees blocked TV reception but didn't miss it at all. Only downside was there was nowhere dedicated to motorhome fresh water filling. And the grey water drain disposal area, by showers was almost blocked. It wasn't a dedicated area either as I had to get someone waiting to book in, to move on. I didn't mind small inconveniences like twigs and tree sap on my awning, which adds to the quaintness of the site. But motorhomes shouldn't be filling fresh water on the main site roadway.

This is the first time I stayed at this site in order to attend the nearby event at Bovington tank museum. Finding the site proved to be tricky as the postcode in a Satnav sent me to the wrong location and via a very convoluted route. There is a caution in the club book about this but I failed to read it! The approach lane to the site from the main road is easy to miss, only signposted from one direction, very narrow, bumpy and lined with trees and hedges. This road would require skill to navigate with a large unit and would present a problem if you met a similar unit coming the other way - someone would have to reverse! Once into the site however, it is nice and secluded. Some pitches are quite sloped with caravans using bricks to prop up legs but my tent area was almost level. The toilet and washing facilities are as usual for and C&C site - excellent. There is a useful lounge room next to reception for guest use with a sofa and lots of information about the local area. Local fresh bread can be ordered from reception for next morning delivery but the site shop is limited, stocking only essentials. By night the site is silent, apart from the sounds of night creatures so it's very relaxing. Site staff were very nice and helpful.

clean quiet site, lots of lovely flowers and cared for areas. I enjoyed lots of walking whilst staying, there was a lot of choices of directions to walk, and the footpaths leading away from site meant that I didn't have to use any roads. I would recommend taking the steam train to Swanage, and visiting the Studland area. I walked some of the coastal footpath which is stunning
