The Purbeck Hills, award winning beaches and a castle make this a popular family site.
Our Club campsite at Corfe Castle lies at the foot of the Purbeck Hills, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – an area known for its walking and wildlife – and is close to the Blue Flag award-winning Studland and Swanage beaches.
Our family-friendly campsite offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches, some of pitches are under trees. There’s a site shop with fresh bread and newspapers delivered daily, a family shower room and wet room for disabled visitors.
There are plenty of walking opportunities straight from the site. A leisurely 15-minute walk, for instance, finds you at Corfe Castle, a stunning ruin from the English Civil War whose iconic silhouette can be seen from miles around. The pretty grey stone village of Corfe Castle lies in the shadow of the romantic castle ruins. Around its square is a cluster of tearooms, trinket shops and pubs.
Studland beach – a glorious four mile stretch of golden sand – and Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic Coast are within easy reach.

A welcome way to return to an area I had visited as a child. There really is so much to do down here, and most of it out-of-doors. The site is most welcoming, being small with very helpful friendly owners. Also liked the nearby "New Inn" in Church Knowle and ate there twice, also took home some of their superb soup. Don't forget their 10% discount. Even when wet, as a lot of our week was, we had a good time, though we did value the drying room facility for our coats and towels.

Would recommend this site to those who enjoy the peace and tranquility of the natural countryside and to those who enjoy walking, cycling, and sight seeing.
Corfe Castle is within easy walking distance from the top of the camp site, through National Trust paths and is a must see.
You don't have to drive far (8 miles) to see the beautiful Lulworth Cove and also Durdle Door. Your car park ticket although seems expensive, can be used between the two places which is what I did.
If you like photography then you will be amazed at what you see. Take a walk to the top of the hill and you will have the best view over the valley, the village of Corfe and if you walk across to the middle of the hill you will be able to see Poole Harbour and miles around on a clear day. Breathtaking views! Well worth a visit to this part of Dorset.
This site has great facilities. The toilets/shower block and washing up area were very modern and kept clean.
Will definitely visit again.
