The Purbeck Hills, award winning beaches and a castle make this a popular family site.

Our Club campsite at Corfe Castle lies at the foot of the Purbeck Hills, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – an area known for its walking and wildlife – and is close to the Blue Flag award-winning Studland and Swanage beaches.

Our family-friendly campsite offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches, some of pitches are under trees. There’s an on-site shop with fresh bread and newspapers delivered daily, a family shower room and wet room for disabled visitors.

There are plenty of walking opportunities straight from the site. A leisurely 15-minute walk, for instance, finds you at Corfe Castle, a stunning ruin from the English Civil War whose iconic silhouette can be seen from miles around. The pretty grey stone village of Corfe Castle lies in the shadow of the romantic castle ruins. Around its square is a cluster of tearooms, trinket shops and pubs.

Studland beach – a glorious four mile stretch of golden sand – and Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic Coast are within easy reach.

Please use the downloadable map available here, rather than satnav to ensure you access the site via A351.

Motorhomes must be booked onto hardstandings.

Corfe Castle currently holds an AA 4 Pennant Award.

Access road narrow and very bumpy.

Access road narrow and very bumpy.Arrived on the Sunday, wardens seemed more interested in sanding down hand rail. Had to stop them and get booked in. Directed to a pitch on a steep slope and no grass just a big patch of mud, asked if I could move over out of the mud but was told no because I woul be close to the next pitch (nobody on it). Un fortuneately we had alot of rain and the area under ground sheet soon became a mud bath due to the rain running down slope under the ground sheet on the Friday had a down pour and awning got flooded and was full of mud. Asked wardens if we could have some sheets to put by the door a area by the step to caravan door was just a soggy muddy mess, in the end they gave me some sheet to put down and made a comment that I was not the only one with aproblem. With the amount of rain it would have been nice if they could have asked people if they were ok. Would be better to have a hard standing, but would not return to this site again. Went home early due to the mud.

We thoroughly enjoyed our all- too- brief stay at this lovely campsite.

We thoroughly enjoyed our all- too- brief stay at this lovely campsite. We will definately be back to explore the area further and have a ride on the Swanage railway.Unfortunately the deserted village at Tyneham was out of bounds due to a military exercise but that would be interesting to visit. The Tank Museum at Bovingdon is well worth a visit;the Sherman tank from the film Fury is on display!
