Handy for Poole, Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of the south coast.

The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of our Verwood Club campsite. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers tranquil setting to camp.

The campsite, bordered by trees offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches. Its newly refurbished facilities include a family shower room and, a well-equipped washing up and laundry area. For younger campers there is a play area and a games room with snooker table and board games. Dogs and their owners will enjoy the wooded dog walk.

You won’t be short of things to do from this campsite. If you’re planning to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre where you could see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park (including Go Ape!).

Just a sixteen mile drive from the campsite delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite.

Our welcome couldn't have been friendlier, and all the staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. The showers are the best we've ever come across on a campsite. A quiet, pleasant atmosphere, with a bustling pub a mile down the road and a beautiful wood for walking.

Apart from what is stated above, the local attractions are obvious, the New Forest is a fantastic place. the local pub near the site serves excellent food, and the supermarket is near also, about a five minute drive. Back to the staff, they were as stated very helpful (us being new to caravans), they were always polite and when I needed help it was readily available. they could not help enough.

Wardens & other staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

Wardens & other staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Facilities including toilets & showers comprehensive, immaculate and never shut. Huge range of games and equipment for young and old and a beautiful dog walk. Pitches are well spaced, loads of paved areas which would be a real blessing if wet (which it wasn't). Children friendly areas located so that they can have fun but not at expense of us more wrinkled ones. Although not actually in the New Forest its only a 15/20 minute drive. Good access to Bournemouth & Poole and we really loved being just a few minutes from Kingston Lacy and other beautiful gardens. The best club site we have stayed at, and we can't think of anything we would change - other than the water temperature in showers is so hot!
