Handy for Poole, Bournemouth and the sandy beaches of the south coast.

The seaside resorts of the south coast and the beautiful New Forest are all within easy reach of our Verwood Club campsite. Situated around seven miles west of the New Forest, Verwood offers tranquil setting to camp.

The campsite, bordered by trees offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches. Its newly refurbished facilities include a family shower room and, a well-equipped washing up and laundry area. For younger campers there is a play area and a games room with snooker table and board games. Dogs and their owners will enjoy the wooded dog walk.

You won’t be short of things to do from this campsite. If you’re planning to explore the New Forest, head to Lyndhurst and the New Forest Centre and Museum. Two miles from here is the New Forest Reptile Centre where you could see all of Britain’s reptiles in one place. The forest more than caters for walkers and cyclists with miles of way-marked tracks.

Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Palace House and Abbey, Bucklers Hard and the spectacular Exbury Gardens are popular days out from the site. Families will particularly enjoy Splashdown Water Park, Paultons Family Theme Park and the Moors Valley Country Park (including Go Ape!).

Just a sixteen mile drive from the campsite delivers you to the sandy beaches of the Bournemouth and Poole area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

The amenities on site are excellent and well maintained. A credit to the Site management.

The amenities on site are excellent and well maintained. A credit to the Site management. Well worth visiting is the Dorset Heavy Horse centre which is close by. Children would find many things to do, and parents can relax and unwind. The site is very near to both the forest and the coast, and is an idea spot for walkers. The Albion Public House and restaurant offers a good standard of cuisine at reasonable prices. There is a Morrisons Supermarket close by Verwood site and includes fuel.

Excellent site, very helpful staff.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

Excellent site, very helpful staff. Facilities were spotless even during busy periods, plenty of hot water and decent showers. We spent a day at the heavy horse centre and would recommend it to anyone even as somebody who isn't that fussed about horses it was a brilliant day out. I would say take a picnic and drinks as they know how to charge for food. Next day was at moors valley park on the cyclist tracks. Again plenty to do and see. I would recommend parking at the cricket ground behind the park which is free and parking on site was 9 for 4+ hours and you can easily spend all day there and still not see everything.

We visited the Hampshire county show, which we enjoyed.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

We visited the Hampshire county show, which we enjoyed. Paultons theme park was really good family fun but book in line for a discount. We visited Bournemouth I couple of times so paid for a week parking pass at avenue multi storey which saved us money. Check online reviews of restaurants because we went to a few awful ones but found a great Toby carvery. On the site there is plenty of information about things to do. There is a playroom for kids that's is a really good space. There is a park to. The site shop is basic and not open long but there is a tesco express and a morrisons near by via car. Don't bother taking spare freezer blocks because they don't freeze them it's 1 deposit for each freezer block you borrow and 50p each time you want one frozen. There are lots of families staying on the site but but once it gets dark it's pretty quiet. I think the kids wear themselves out, our son did. A chip van comes on site my fish cake was nice but I think the chips were frozen ones rather than from fresh.

This site is very local to us as we live in Bournemouth.

This review is for Verwood, New Forest

This site is very local to us as we live in Bournemouth. We stayed there because my wife had a long weekend and we were visiting Damerham Fair nearby. The site is very well maintained. It was a bit noisy but we expected that as it was school holidays. Our pitch was fine. We didn't experience any problems from start to finish. Our daughter and grand daughters visited and loved it. Hopefully we will use it for a family camping weekend soon. Thank you. Tony and Sue Gibson
