This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
Whilst the majority of Certificated Sites do permit children, please be aware that this site has chosen to be Adults Only.
Multi award winning campsite is situated in the village of Garlieston and sits in its own 5 acres of woodland, a small river runs through it feeding our fishery which is stocked with rainbow, brown and wild trout. The site is full of wildlife and a bird watchers paradise, kingfishers, otters and deer can often be seen on site. We have a breeding herd of Britain’s only all black pedigree Large Black pigs. Free range pork, eggs and award winning haggis are sold on site. Garlieston is the ideal place to spend a holiday or weekend break. Garlieston harbour is steeped in maritime history and is the birth place of the famous floating Mulberry Harbours and has an excellent slipway to launch from and enjoy the Wigtown Bay estuary.
If you want to fish, cycle, ramble, bird watch, sight see or just chill out our site has it all.

Our favourite CS site. Beautiful surroundings, friendly welcome!
This is our favourite site bar none. We camp here at least 3 times a year. The site is beautifully maintained, with lots of wildlife. It feels like a private oasis with a large fishing pond. However just outside the site is the village, with beach and harbour. There are plenty of walks direct from site.
The pitches are spacious, all with hook up, with gravel for excellent drainage, we would recommend using a ground sheet or foot print. A warm welcome is guaranteed here for both people and dogs.
This is a lovely site with great facilities, what's not to like!

We were made very welcome at this peaceful and clean site
We had a lovely peaceful 2 nights here, the facilities were very clean, especially the lighting system to indicate when the toilet or shower was in use. A great place for a peaceful break or coastal walks, also a warm welcome at the Harbour Inn and good food too, highly recommended and would definitely visit again sometime.
