We booked this last minute and had no problems booking a pitch, opted for a superior pitch, a stones throw from the beach. Met by very friendly staff, the site was quiet, the toilet and shower facilities were plentiful and spotless, as we were there to relax this was ideal for us but it had easy access to the loch for water sports, the west highland way for walking and plenty of road network for cycling. We did go into the nearby towns which were lovely and the locals were very friendly. The shop was well stocked and they bake bread, croissants, toast etc to order which is a great service and think more sites should follow this great idea. Only problem was the midges!!! Apparently they are prevelent this year and having hailed from Scotland I was used to them, however, they were there in force. All in all we had a great short break.

New to camping thought would try somewhere close to home for our first time, couldn't have chosen better!!! We pitched out tent in a lovely spot and had a fab 2 day break in stunning surroundings. We arrived early on the Friday so found a pitch no problem. Reaaly clean showers and toilets and hot showers and pot washing facilities too and will definitely be coming back soon!! Don't be put off by the previous review of the tent pitches, you just need to get there early and there are plenty of places to pitch a tent with electric hook up with great views!!

I have been to this site on a few occasions over the last couple of years and have always enjoyed the location but the staff are always rude and unfriendly. I give them the benefit of the doubt as it's such a nice location, maybe they're just having a bad day, so I always end up going back - but no more. if you try to talk to them about anything you're made to feel like you're an inconvenience. It wouldn't hurt to smile. I feel ashamed that any visitors to this beautiful country are greeted by such horrible people. Additionally, I'm sure if the could, they'd charge you extra for breathing the fresh air. No sense of decency to be found anywhere

This review is for Cashel - Loch Lomond

When we arrived we were due a refund due to the change of days and dates, 28.70. When I mentioned this at reception it was quickly glossed over and no refund was forth coming. Even when I showed them my email with the refund it was again quickly talked over so never received it. I didn't want to make a fuss and spoil the holiday. The site was clean and tidy and very helpful in most cases. Shop was very full and you were able to get bread and milk at any time of the day. Fresh bread was made on site and was reasonably priced. Would I go back again? Proverbially not but only due to the fact that there was nothing on site to do. It would have been great if they hired kayaks or bikes then I might go back. The site had beautiful views and the sunsets were amazing.
