Staff at reception very friendly and welcoming.

Staff at reception very friendly and welcoming. You aren't allocated a pitch, you drive round the different sections and find your own pitch. Staff walk around and record where you are during the afternoon, again all very friendly. Pitches are really good size and well marked out. Would suggest taking extra levelling blocks. Really nice walks, can walk in to Sway (approx 20 mins), rather nice coffee shop in Sway (Middle Street) is worth a pit stop. Will be booking again for sure.

Site very clean and quiet with basic facilities as expected.

Site very clean and quiet with basic facilities as expected. Staff helpful but seemed irritated when we brought 2 family members to visit for an hour for which we were charged £5. I only enquired about where the visitor parking was and was then informed that there would be a £3 charge per car and £1 per person. So much for my honesty! They could have parked around the corner for free and come to the caravan in our car. Who would have known?

A relaxing wonderful site. So good we stayed an extra two nights.

This review is for Setthorns - New Forest

A relaxing wonderful site. So good we stayed an extra two nights. Set right in the New Forest it was literally a step to start walking in the forest. Peaceful and quiet with lots of wildlife coming to check us out including a stag one day who came within 10m of the van. If you can go for a select pitch. Set up at the top of the camp site these pitches are secluded and well separated with electric hook up and lots of chemical waste disposal points, water points and rubbish collection points within easy walking distance. These pitches come with a picnic table and have lots of room. Tucked right in amongst the trees they provide good visual separation from your neighbours. Lots of lovely walks abound from the site and it is an easy 40 minutes walk into Sway. There are no toilets or showers on the site but that is one of the attractions. Very dog friendly too. Thoroughly recommended We will be back!
