Overview

  • Campsites next to or within walking distance of a beach

    Top site for beaches

Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.

With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.

Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it is now a great base to stay when exploring the numerous attractions for all of the family.

Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.

For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.

Worth Noting

Electric security barriers in operation. Please note there is no parking for visitors and, because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

Would liked to have known about the building site next door.

Would liked to have known about the building site next door. Would have gone elsewhere had we known, it ruined our holiday. DIRTY AND NOISY AND TO RUB SALT INTO THE WOUND THE DAY WE CAME AWAY we had the caravan Valeted. I booked weeks before. They should have warned us. Pitches too close together. Loose dogs. BBQ's stinking your van out. Horrible site for your summer holiday.

Lovely site.

Lovely site. The only issue was the building site all around and diggers starting at 0730 every morning. Would have been nice to have been told about it on arrival

Lovely walks to the coast close by and short drives to other attractions, for example, Portsmouth Naval Dockyard. A very nice pub 100 yards from the site entrance serving excellent local food, must have mussels, and ale all served by really friendly staff.
