Fishing on site and walking and cycling in the nearby Malvern Hills & Wye Valley.

If it’s adventure in the great outdoors you’re seeking, then head to our multi award-winning Hereford Club campsite. The Malvern Hills and Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean, all ripe for adventure, are within striking distance of our campsite near the popular county town of the same name.

Equally the campsite’s idyllic rural location, next to The Millpond – a stunning three-and-a-half acre fishing lake – makes it perfect for a relaxing break or simply to explore the many attractions of the area at leisure.

A lovely tree-lined driveway delivers you to our attractive Hereford campsite. The vast site caters for up to 102 units. Some of the spacious pitches overlook the fishing lake. The excellent facilities include modern amenity blocks, a playing field and a dog walk.

The pedestrianized streets of the quiet market town of Hereford are perfect for an afternoon’s stroll. The town has many black and white buildings, including the Old House. The cathedral is worth a look as is the Cider museum which offers tours. The Herefordshire Cider Route, a driving or cycling tour of the county’s farms, orchards and pubs, starts from here.

The Elgar Route is another driving trail that takes in over 40 places of interest relating to the composor’s life and music.

Head to Ross-on-Wye for Goodrich Castle, a red-sandstone stronghold. A little over two miles south, Symonds Yat is a popular beauty spot overlooking the River Wye.

Our only criticism during our stay:- both the female and male toilet and shower facilities were closed at the same time for cleaning this left only the disability toilet in use for everyone, this happened every day from 11am till 12.30pm, for the number of people staying on the site plus visitors I feel this is totally unacceptable for a site with 102 pitches, not to mention the problems it will cause to any persons who are disabled. *** Would'nt it be better to clean one at a time rather than closing both then they will be out of use for less time.

This is one of the best campsites we have visited.

This review is for Hereford

This is one of the best campsites we have visited. We stayed in a tent, so were pleased that most of the grass pitches were flat and level. What made this campsite special was the large lake, although we didn't fish it was very pleasant to walk round. The only drawback with this site is the men's washroom. Although it was kept spotlessly clean and tidy, the 7 wash basins were all communal. One or two private cubicles would have been a big improvement. This is the only reason I gave the facilities 3 stars.

A really nice peaceful site with an excellent site team.

A really nice peaceful site with an excellent site team. You don't have to be a fisherman to enjoy the the beautiful lake , it is nice just to stroll around the lake and enjoy the tranquility . For those of you that like to use public transport , the hourly bus service to either Hereford or Ledbury is really very good with modern buses and you can catch them at the top of the site lane. Hereford is a delightful cathedral city very easy to explore on foot.

hi, My wife and I have just arrived back from 12 nights at this great site and I feel I should recommend it to other club members. We originally booked for 7 nts but then extended by another 5. I have to say we found all the staff to be very cheerful and helpful, particularly Tim in the reception and Brian, the water Bailiff, what a help he was to me sharing tips and knowledge to help me catch fish. A really enjoyable stay in a nice area, we'll be back. good luck derek
