Scotland’s most famous loch is the stunning backdrop for the Club’s new campsite in the Scottish Highlands. The aptly-named Loch Ness Shores Club campsite is located on the quieter south shore near the village of Foyers.

This 99 pitch, all-year-round campsite enjoys panoramic views around Loch Ness to the mountains beyond and is the perfect base for exploring the area’s historic sites like the magnificent Urquhart Castle, the charming towns and villages of Fort Augustus, Cannich and Drumnadrochit, or for getting active whether it be on foot, bike or boat.

The site itself has excellent eco credentials, including using innovative green technologies to heat and light the top notch facilities which include an amenity block with under floor heating and home from home shower rooms, an on-site shop and wi-fi. Boats (suitable for fishing) and canoes are available to hire on site.

Loch Ness Shores also offers the opportunity to go glamping in one of its five luxury wooden wigwam cabins, all boasting comfy caravan-style beds. These stylish wigwam cabins are a first for the Club Site network, with two comfortably accommodating up to five, the other three, two adults and two children.

On the shores of Loch Ness, direct access to the Loch for any water sport lovers.

This review is for Loch Ness Shores

On the shores of Loch Ness, direct access to the Loch for any water sport lovers. Accessed by very quiet narrow road with lots of passing spaces. You drive along the quiet side of Loch Ness where there are lots of viewing/stopping areas. Once there you will receive a warm welcome from Lynn and Donald who were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The modern 5 star facilities make it a home from home. Half an hour drive to Inverness for all your requirements. You will pass The Dore's Inn , Friendly,Warm and most of all for us (DOG FRIENDLY) in the bar. Well worth a visit good pub food and a restaurant attached, they also have a shuttle bus. Lots of walks through forestry and along the Loch. Great time had by us even although we never saw Nessie but every ripple plays with your mind. Well worth a visit be it a short stay or long break you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Brian ,Carol and Bubba

The Franchisees Donald and Lyn Forbes are extremely welcoming and helpful.

The Franchisees Donald and Lyn Forbes are extremely welcoming and helpful. They are rightly proud of this wonderful campsite. It is very well laid out with stunning views of Loch Ness and plenty of short and longer walks around the local area. There are boats for hire on the loch just next to the Reception Block and the site is only 15 miles or so from Fort Augustus and the Caledonian Canal which leads into Loch Ness. We only stayed 1 night but will definitely return for a longer stay in future. Of the many campsites I have used, both Club and private sites, this is definitely the best appointed and I would recommend it to anyone. The road to the site is a little tricky but well worth the effort to enjoy this splendid site.
