The site itself has excellent eco credentials, including using innovative green technologies to heat and light the top notch facilities which include an amenity block with under floor heating and home from home shower rooms, an on-site shop and wi-fi.

Loch Ness Shores also offers the opportunity to go glamping in one of its five luxury wooden wigwam cabins, all boasting comfy caravan-style beds. The Falls of Foyer were lovely - a fantastic wak through the woods with brillian scenery. The views over Loch Ness are stunning. The staff are fantastic - very helpful and chatty especially the handsome chap!!!!!!! The facilities are excellent and kept very clean. Cannot wait to return - wish we had discovered this site earlier in the year but will be returning even in winter.

We only stayed for 2 night but would have loved to stay longer. The setting is wonderful with Loch Ness so close by. The waterfall at Foyers was a lovely surprise and well worth the short climb. The site is surrounded by hills so maybe more suitable for those with strong legs! The local pub has a good selection of food and drinks including local ales and is dog friendly. Donald the owner is a hands on, friendly chap. We were very impressed with his support of the local community to the extent that the on site shop whilst having all the basics tries not take business from the local shop. The site is immaculately clean and fits in well with the surroundings, we noticed many people saying how lovely the site looked from the pub when it was lit up at night. We have a motorhome and access to the site was easy enough for us.

The facilities in the Wigwam were good, with comfortable beds, power points and very good insulation. The area outside was perfect for the family, with a lovely eating and barbecue area and grass our toddler enjoyed to pitch his own tent. Lyn and Donald were the friendliest hosts ever and both them and the staff brought in anything we needed during our stay. The site is spotlessly clean. The walk through the footpath to the Foyers store at to the Foyers Falls is a must.
