    Top site for beaches

Easy access to the long, sandy beaches of Lincolnshire's seaside coast from this campsite.

The seaside is the big draw for our family-friendly Mablethorpe Club campsite. Its location is just a mile from the lovely sandy beach at Mablethorpe. This golden expanse of sand is perfect for bucket and spade fun, while the seafront offers everything you would expect from a British seaside resort – amusement arcades, fairground, donkey rides and cafes.

Queens Park next to the beach offers a variety of activities and has a boating lake, paddling pool, miniature railway, tennis courts and putting green. Head further down the coast for Skegness and more traditional seaside fun.

For those visiting Mablethorpe campsite, it’s not just about the beach. Inland the Fens and Lincolnshire Wolds are both lovely walking and cycling areas. The towns of Louth, Spilsby, Market Rasen and Alford are all worth visiting, the latter is fames for its craft market held every Tuesday and Friday through the summer.

We enjoyed our stay in the area with good old fashioned small seaside town charm of Mablethorpe, Sutton on sea and Chapel St Leonard's close by. Several decent cafe's and resteraunts in the area. A good restfull break.

My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights in Sept this year the walk into town was quite easy except for the narrow pavement, the roads and pitches on site are excellent but the shower block certainly leaves something to be desired it is far from the standard we expect from a club site and we certainly will not be staying here again until they are replaced.

Nice site and friendly welcome. Would stay again.

Nice site and friendly welcome. Would stay again. Now an appeal to a minority of dog owners who just don't get it, the 1%, whom are oblivious to their dogs behaviour and how it impacts on the piece and enjoyment of others. Picture the scene. Two middle aged adults, sat outside reading books whilst their yap dog, barks every 10 seconds, for no apparent reason, constantly for an hour. Not once did they tell it to shut up, put it in the caravan..........I doubt the 1% will read this, because being socially unaware as they are, review sites are views and opinions of others of which they will have no interest in......I'm alright Jack !

The walk to the beech and town is OK, but at night a bit scary on the section with no pavement and fast cars. The site is well laid out and the staff were helpful. The toilet block is dated and cramped. The door to the ladies block was permanently ajar as it stuck on the floor. Didn't fancy having a shower. It seems a new reception building is just about to open. When will a new toilet block be built? From previous reviews this would seem to be more pressing. I haven't seen anyone complaining about the reception in reviews.
