    Top site for beaches

Easy access to the long, sandy beaches of Lincolnshire's seaside coast from this campsite.

The seaside is the big draw for our family-friendly Mablethorpe Club campsite. Its location is just a mile from the lovely sandy beach at Mablethorpe. This golden expanse of sand is perfect for bucket and spade fun, while the seafront offers everything you would expect from a British seaside resort – amusement arcades, fairground, donkey rides and cafes.

Queens Park next to the beach offers a variety of activities and has a boating lake, paddling pool, miniature railway, tennis courts and putting green. Head further down the coast for Skegness and more traditional seaside fun.

For those visiting Mablethorpe campsite, it’s not just about the beach. Inland the Fens and Lincolnshire Wolds are both lovely walking and cycling areas. The towns of Louth, Spilsby, Market Rasen and Alford are all worth visiting, the latter is famous for its craft market held every Tuesday and Friday through the summer.

Worth Noting

Campers with larger units are recommended to access the site via Seaholme Road, not Church Lane.

We have just arrived back from five nights at Mablethorpe and wanted to leave a review. We were welcomed on arrival and made to feel "at home" - we were able to choose where we pitched and the site attendant was happy to help with this. Over the course of the five days we rarely saw the staff on the site, but from how clean the facilities and grounds were and that the bins were kept empty etc, it was obvious that they were working hard in the background. The shower and toilets, laundry and dishwashing facilities were spotless and the only fault we could find was that the water was a little too hot (especially for the showers as you cannot change the temp), however this did not detract from a lovely site. We didn't drive the whole time we were there, Mablethorpe beach is around one mile away, with some shops, including a large Co-operative on the way. There is lots of opportunities to walk and cycle in the area and the walk from Mablethorpe along the promenade to Sutton on Sea is lovely.
