Top site for photography
Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club campsite located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units. It is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.
The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.
For sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards, both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. The market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops, eating places.
Air enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.
100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.
Free range eggs are sold at Brackenside Farm and the Bakery and Delicatessen in Woodhall Spa sells local cheese, bread and cakes. The Petwood Hotel serves food prepared with local ingredients, as does the Ebrington Arms in Kirkby-on-Bain.

Site is very tranquil, a choice of pitches open field grass, or if preferred among trees.
We chose the non electric in the large open field which gave us prospect of sun all day,sun also shone!
There is a children's play area and equipment if required. No other entertainment on site, but that is not something we ever seek.
Slightly surprised to see a dog walker using the entrance to our field and close to our pitch, to walk her dog. Had walked past the dog walk sign and ignored it, not the best to see her cleaning up whilst we ate our breakfast!
Obviously not the fault of the club or wardens, the second sign on the actual dog walk was visible from the ladies own caravan, yet she repeated the walk at three different times.
Debatable if an arrow on the first sign would help, second sign is only a short distance and clearly visible from the first.
Would certainly revisit as when returning to the area.

Tattershall castle, church, Woodhall Spa, Gunby Hall, Horncastle (church, bookshop, etc), Sutton on Sea, made an action packed holiday. We hope to return some day and try out "The Kinema in the woods". The south field was spacious, clean, dry, peaceful, and the hooting of owls on the moonlit nights added to the splendid atmosphere. The sea was close enough to visit conveniently for a paddle, etc.
