Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club Site located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units. It is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.

The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.

If you're looking for sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards. These are both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast, the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. You'll find the market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops and eateries.

Aircraft enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.

We stopped here for 10 days at the beginning of August and had a wonderful time, Woodhall Spa the village is nice and Lincoln was great. The site was lovely the toilets were clean but could do with a make over. There was noise from the aircraft flying over but it didn't bother us. If you want a lovely meal go to the "Tea house in the woods" in Woodhall Spa its excellent.

Spent our first ever motorhoming weekend here.

This review is for Woodhall Spa

Spent our first ever motorhoming weekend here. The reception was lovely and instructions were very clear. As newbies it was helpful that the available pitches were shown to us. Motorhoming facilities very clean and there's plenty of space at the hardstanding pitches, although there didn't seem to be a rule on which piece of grass was yours, with the result that our neighbour seemed to take up the grass on either side, leaving us a small spot. The dog walk is but small but very clean and it seems to be used a lot by children running through it and playing hide and seek there. Perhaps a little sign saying it's not a children's play area might persuade kids to play elsewhere and let dogs do their business in peace. Great site for families, as facilities are spotlessly clean and ample.
