Spot dolphins on Scotland's sunshine coast from this campsite.

Nestled within a beautiful highland Forest, our Club campsite at Nairn is level and well sheltered and has a rural feel. You might even be lucky enough to spot a red squirrel or two.

There are well maintained facilities, including a laundry and a recreation room with table tennis, also a small site shop. The site’s delightful location offers extensive walking directly into the wood. There is also a great walk to the beach.

The attractive seaside town of Nairn has two Blue Flag beaches and a promenade with fantastic views over the Moray Firth. The town hosts a number of festivals including a Book and Arts Festival, International Jazz Festival and the Highland Feast – a food and drink festival. And in August is hosts Scotland’s only free-entry Highland Games.

Nairn is also a centre of golfing excellence with two 18-hole championship golf courses - the Nairn Golf Club and the Castle Stewart Golf Course which is a regular host of the Scotish open. Within an hour’s drive of the town you can visit Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Clava Stones, Loch Ness, Castle Urquhart, Culbin Forest and the new viewpoint tower, the Cairngorms National Park, Cairngorm Mountain Railway, the Strathspey Steam Railway, Ballindalloch Castle, Elgin Cathedral and the Whisky Trail.

Inverness is 15 miles from the campsite. Here you can explore its old town or enjoy walks along the Caledonian Canal and the River Ness. Or take a boat trip to see the resident bottle-nose dolphins in the Moray Firth.

The layout of the site is wonderful allowing privacy.

The layout of the site is wonderful allowing privacy. We were staying there whilst it was very windy and yet the spot we were in was very sheltered. The site managers were very friendly. The only thing that I ciuld think it may benefit from is a dog wash area. A standpipe with a hosepipe would do....just to wash their paws after the wonderful walks. The A96 does run right past the site but this is more of a benefit than a nuisance as it allows easy access to the shopping areas a short drive away. Would definately stay again.

I was staying at this site on my own and the Managers could not be more helpful.

I was staying at this site on my own and the Managers could not be more helpful. The site is very well kept. The shower block is not the most modern but makes up for it by being immaculately clean. Great location for dogs with access to woodland from the site and also the beach is 30 minutes walk away along woodland tracks and unclassified roads. Once on the beach you can walk for miles. If you don't want to walk so far there are bus stops right outside the site with buses into either Inverness or Nairn. A fish and chip van stops on a Tuesday night if there are enough people on site, I was there in March so wasn't always busy. This is a great site for touring the highlands and I am looking forward to going back.
