Nice clean site but let down by facilities that were poorly presented.

This review is for Grove Farm Barns

Nice clean site but let down by facilities that were poorly presented. On first appearances this was a nice clean flat site with nicely cut grass. Trees and Hedges offered good shelter which was needed since it was very windy during our stay. The Toilet and Showers were disappointing. Firstly any hot water you needed a Pound Coin to use. The Water was not hot enough to shave but OK in the shower. There was no hand drying facility either paper towels or hot air. The toilet rolls did not have a holder and were often found on the wet floor. This site was next to 12 Cottages run by the same owner. I think that priority is given to those rather than the Campsite.

site clean & flat grass, easy access for vans some narrow roads to negotiate but had worse. Handy to tour broads. Generally a nice site with electric hook up only. There is only one drinking water tap to serve the site and only two showers which incorporate toilet and washing facilities both require you to pay 1.00 for hot water for 15 Mins. We were surprise to be charged 18.00 per night in low season when the site advertises from 12 to 15 and did not receive any discount for members or oap's. There was free WiFi which was good but aside from meeting with the owner to pay fees "cash only" after a phone call who seemed pleasant enough we had no cause to see any other staff. The site would be good for seasoned campers to tour the countryside and who prefer a more relaxed and peaceful break and exploring the Broads .

Lovely site, we like sites that are peaceful without the mod cons of amusements, swimming pools etc. Level grass pitches with electric. Site is level grass pitches nice and big. Owners do not put too many units on and are very friendly. It's 1.5 miles from ludham with lovely pub and tea shop. 4 mile cycle to stalham if you fancied hiring a day boat. There are 2 wet rooms on site, very well kept. Each has a shower, sink and toilet. It costs 1 for 15 minutes of hot water. We would recommend and return.

A lovely peaceful well maintained site with electric hook up showers and washing up facilities.

A lovely peaceful well maintained site with electric hook up showers and washing up facilities. Level field protected by hedges, open views. After camping here we booked a night in the new shepherds hut. The hut is surrounded by it's own private garden complete with table and chairs surrounded by a willow weave fence and it's own front gate. It was a delightful experience, lovely comfortable double bed, cosy heating and plenty of storage. The hut is is nicely decorated with a light airy feel and also has a kettle and toaster. The ultimate glamping experience in the Norfolk countryside
