In the Northumberland National Park, perfect for outdoor activities and great days out.

Located in the Northumberland National Park and Northumberland International Dark Sky Park – considered to be the most tranquil place in the UK – our Bellingham Club campsite will appeal to campers looking for a relaxing break as well as those seeking adventure.

This is a level, well maintained 70 pitch campsite with modern facilities including a shop, short dog walk, children’s play area, warm indoor social space, kitchen, drying room, family wet room and games room.

There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from the site. Walk to the busy village of Bellingham (20 mins) and then to the magical Hareshaw Linn waterfall through ancient woodland. Enjoy a walk along the North Tyne riverbank, fish for salmon, cycle the quiet lanes to Greenhaugh village, or spend the day in Kielder Water and Forest Park, northern Europe’s largest man-made lake (25 mins drive). At Kielder, there are many cycle trails, fishing and watersports. As befits an International Dark Sky Park, the area has exceptionally low light pollution and offers breathtaking night skies. A visit to the Kielder Observatory takes you closer to the stars.

History lovers will enjoy Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the remarkable National Trust properties of Cragside and Wallington.

Bellingham also have camping pods.

Bellingham currently holds a 5 Star rating with Visit England and an AA 5 Gold Pennant Award.

Great site, incredibly friendly welcome, lovely staff.

Great site, incredibly friendly welcome, lovely staff. Walks from the site too, with a pub close by that serves pub grub and has great staff. Fab for dogs. Love the fact we didn't need to get in our car during the stay to enjoy ourselves. Beware of the midges mind (we got eaten alive and I'm still scratching!), and if you have a dog that likes to chase (as we do!), the multitude of rabbits. Totally recommended and we will return.
