Located just a mile outside the centre of Oxford, the campsite is the perfect base for exploring the magnificent city of dreaming spires. Camping in Oxford doesn't get any better than this.

Walk, cycle or catch the bus (there’s a stop right outside the site) into the city and you’ll find plenty to see and do. Don’t miss the University Museum of Natural History (the most complete remains of any single dodo are here) and the Pitt Rivers and Ashmolean Museums, the latter has 67 galleries to explore. A guided walking tour is the best way to see the University colleges and botanic Garden. There are themed tours too including an Inspector Morse and a Harry Potter Tour. Nice welcoming staff, lovely site and lovely clean amenities. Easy to get to Oxford, bust stop outside of the gates. If you have a OAP bus pass use it, however if you go to Blenheim palace dont buy the ticket on the bus to Blenheim. Show your pass then buy a ticket on the gate or you will end up paying for a bus ride. If you do the open top ride you can catch that at the park and ride across the road from the camp site. Your ticket is for two rides on different buses. This is a must visit site lots to do , eating local two nice pubs on the way into Oxford and a fish and chip shop 5 minutes walk heading into Oxford. takes about 15 mins to walk into Oxford.

Can you explain why CCC have not refurbished the facilities up to their usual standards found on most of your sites. They were clean and maintained to the best the staff could attain. Not the standard we have come to expect of the Club!
