There are stunning views from our campsite near Pembrokeshire's Heritage Coast in south Wales.

If you’re looking for a campsite with stunning sea views, magnificent sunsets and stunning walks our St David’s Club campsite could be for you. Just a mile from the Heritage Coast, visitors to this attractive campsite will also have the chance to enjoy the area’s historic buildings, traditional arts and crafts and plentiful wildlife.

Many of this attractive campsite’s 40 pitches overlook the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, while the others enjoy views of the surrounding farmland and rolling countryside. Facilities are well maintained and there is a small site shop.

Walkers can pick up the dramatic Pembrokeshire Coast Path near the campsite and enjoy some fantastic coastal scenery and hidden coves from this undulating path. The pebble beach at Abereiddy is about a 20 minute walk from the campsite and is accessed from the path. Head north to find the Blue Lagoon and Porthgain Harbour and south for Whitesands Bay, considered to be the best surfing beach in Pembrokeshire.

The area is especially popular for water sports and coastal activities such as kayaking, surfing, wind surfing, coasteering and climbing, all of which can be done near the site with or without tuition.

St David’s itself is five miles from the campsite and has a magnificent cathedral, also worth visiting is Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre.

Nice location if a little remote unless you walk or take the bus (we were motor home ) about 20 minutes walk down to the coast and pretty cove , if you want peace don't go on a bank holiday weekend when kids are off school , someone even decided to have a firework display on the Saturday night on site around 11 pm which considering the number of tents and awnings on site I was amazed this was allowed , numerous people there with dogs that were constantly running free off lead even though there were signs up asking people to keep their dogs on leads at all times (which we did on site with ours) Keith was very pleasant and helpful but I was surprised he and his wife were on their own with no assistants particularly for busy holiday periods (no body can be on duty constantly without help ) .

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet even in the middle of August.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet even in the middle of August. Stunning sunsets, we were lucky with the weather. Amazing walks along the coastal paths, all well marked, above the azure sea, similar to our North Cornish coast, felt at home. The Sloop Inn at Porthgrain was excellent for food and refreshments. The Ship Inn at Trefin was very pleasant, lovely landlady. Strumble Shuttle bus service very good, very helpful and chatty driver.

This part of the Welsh coastline is by far the best as there are lots of small coves, beaches and harbours to visit. I'm biased as I've been going for 47 years but this is why. Beautiful views, fabulous sunsets, clean water and beaches, quiet roads, great food, great pubs, nice people; what more can I say!
