There are stunning views from our campsite near Pembrokeshire's Heritage Coast in south Wales.

If you’re looking for a campsite with stunning sea views, magnificent sunsets and stunning walks our St David’s Club campsite could be for you. Just a mile from the Heritage Coast, visitors to this attractive campsite will also have the chance to enjoy the area’s historic buildings, traditional arts and crafts and plentiful wildlife.

Many of this attractive campsite’s 40 pitches overlook the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, while the others enjoy views of the surrounding farmland and rolling countryside. Facilities are well maintained and there is a small site shop.

Walkers can pick up the dramatic Pembrokeshire Coast Path near the campsite and enjoy some fantastic coastal scenery and hidden coves from this undulating path. The pebble beach at Abereiddy is about a 20 minute walk from the campsite and is accessed from the path. Head north to find the Blue Lagoon and Porthgain Harbour and south for Whitesands Bay, considered to be the best surfing beach in Pembrokeshire.

The area is especially popular for water sports and coastal activities such as kayaking, surfing, wind surfing, coasteering and climbing, all of which can be done near the site with or without tuition.

St David’s itself is five miles from the campsite and has a magnificent cathedral, also worth visiting is Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre.

All pitches are sloping therefore chocks/levelling devices will be needed. This site has poor TV reception and no mobile phone reception.

Good Points: Lovely restaurant (Cwtch) in St. David's.

Good Points: Lovely restaurant (Cwtch) in St. David's. Nice 2 mile walk from Whitesands Bay to St. David's Head. Good trip to Ramsey Island (RSPB Reserve) where we saw chough/wheatear/raven/deer and seals with pups as well as a Juvenile Peregrine. Nice day in Fishguard especially lunch at The Gourmet Pig Deli and the wonderful tapestry of an attempted French Invasion (which is designed like the Bayeux tapestry!) displayed at the Library. Good cheap car park in West St. (80p all day). Very good food stalls in the Thursday indoor market. Nice walk down to Lower Town harbour. Adequate NISA supermarket in St. David's. Very good TIC in St. David's where you can also park for 3 for 3 hours. Bad Points: Disappointing lunch at Pebbles Bistro in St. David's. Car Parking 5 all day at Whitesands Bay and then charged 20p to use toilet! Site has no private wash-basin cubicles and only 2 showers (although we never had to queue for these). Very disappointing that, as with so many C&C sites, leaflets are obviously provided by some outside company and therefore do not include local places of interest such as the tapestry in Fishguard (which does have a leaflet). Although there were 3 buses a day stopping right outside the site, unfortunately the times meant that you would spend, for instance, over 5 hours in St. David's, which would be OK when you wish to visit the Cathedral but not for just a casual visit.

Fantastic site in a perfect spot for access to the coast path and some amazing beaches.

Fantastic site in a perfect spot for access to the coast path and some amazing beaches. We booked in for 8 nights but sadly the weather was horrendous and with it forecast to get worse we decided to move to a more sheltered site inland. Can't thank the managers enough for their help in organizing the move for us, they sorted it all out for us while we packed the car. All we had to do was drive to the new site where they were expecting us. We will definitely be returning so we can explore more of the coast but maybe in a different tent!!!

A small site just 4 miles from St Davids and although windy it has a wonderful view out to sea. Lynn and Geoff the site managers are very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were spotlessly clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some people may find the lack of wifi and phone signal a disadvantage but for the few days we stayed it was actually very restful! The nearby beach at Abereiddy is stony but sandy beaches are within a short drive. We would definitely go back again.
