Our Luss Club campsite is located on the western shore of the beautiful Loch Lomond at the southern end of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Its stunning views across the Loch and the park make it one of the Club’s most beautiful sites.

Base yourself at this 90-pitch campsite and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do. Walking and cycling are possible direct from the site and boat launching is possible for those with small non-motorised craft. For the more adventurous there are also hill walking and canyoning opportunities. While Loch Lomond itself is popular for canoeing, water skiing, bathing and picnicking, or simply sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere.

A bus stop just 500m from the site, and train station in nearby Balloch make a day trip to Glasgow possible from Luss. For family days out there is Balloch Castle Country Park and the Loch Lomond Sea Life Aquarium, Balloch or take a boat trip to Inchcailloch, one of the Loch’s islands with its own nature reserve.

The site is well maintained and the views of the loch are amazing.

The site is well maintained and the views of the loch are amazing. It is situated just off the A82 so you can hear traffic throughout the night, I managed about 4 hours sleep. Also it is quite expensive for a camp site. For my girlfriend and I, it cost us about 30 for 1 night. It had cost us 18 for the previous night in the Lake District.

The site was easy to find and most welcoming on our arrival .

The site was easy to find and most welcoming on our arrival . The site is very pretty and well kept and the views along the loch are brill. We and our dogs Max and Luna stayed for 7 nights on a hard standing pitch. this was our first visit. the only thing that stopped it being all 5 star was the noise from the A82 which in all fairness is beyond the control of the campsite, this noise is also very much 'what you are used to' as our neighbors did not find traffic noise a problem. the facilities were very clean. Walk into Luss takes about 5 mins and it is a very pretty village, local shop had quite a good selection of goods. We, Max and Luna really enjoyed our daily walks around the site and along the loch edge, we saw some wonderful sunsets. The midges are apart of Scotland and you just need to be prepared. We would stay again although not for a long stay but for one or two nights if travelling on.

This site was ideally situated for travelling into Glasgow for The Commonwealth Games.

This site was ideally situated for travelling into Glasgow for The Commonwealth Games. The kids enjoyed the ducks and rabbits around the site and with Loch Lomond a few steps away from our tent the views were spectacular. Will certainly return to this site in the near future.

All I can say is from the time we arrived till the time we left it was perfect..

All I can say is from the time we arrived till the time we left it was perfect.. Firstly we were extremely late which could have caused problems but it didn't. We had a lovely call from the site asking if we were ok and did we have an ETA.. (We had also left a Message) On our smily arrival we were booked in and taken to our pitch and nothing was too much trouble.. On finding our cable wasn't long enough we were immediately supplied with another.. Both managers were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The site itself is immaculate. Tarmac roads, well proportioned pitches, immaculately cut lawns, showers and toilets so clean you could eat your dinner off the floor.. Dish washing facilities, laundry etc... Dog walking area and kiddy play park available if needed. Small but adequate selection of goods at reception.. Luss it's self is so quaint truly gorgeous with lots to do. We did the boat trip around the loch which was amazing and very informative. OMG the scenery what can I say, the best in Scotland (and that's coming from someone who lives on the shores of Loch Ness!) We ate twice at a wee cafe and had an evening meal in the local pub. Food, prices and hospitality was A1.. The only thing for me was the local shops prices were very high but I suppose as a very touristy destination that should be expected. They did have a good selection though. All in all including the most amazing weather in one of the most amazing spots in Scotland our overall get away was fab. We had planned to go back in the middle of August with our daughter but due to work we now can't but we definitely will be back at some point. Save that wonderful pitch for us guys! Hehe.. I Suppose everyone's expectations are different hence such a big variation on reviews but like us you have to try it to truly know it so don't be put off, go try Luss C&CC.. We luuuurved it.. ??
