Luss Club Site is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Scotland, on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Our Luss Club campsite is located on the western shore of the beautiful Loch Lomond at the southern end of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Its stunning views across the Loch and the park make it one of the Club’s most beautiful sites.

Base yourself at this 90-pitch campsite and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do. Walking and cycling are possible direct from the site and boat launching is possible for those with small non-motorised craft. For the more adventurous there are also hill walking and canyoning opportunities. While Loch Lomond itself is popular for canoeing, water skiing, bathing and picnicking, or simply sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere.

A bus stop just 500m from the site, and train station in nearby Balloch make a day trip to Glasgow possible from Luss. For family days out there is Balloch Castle Country Park and the Loch Lomond Sea Life Aquarium, Balloch or take a boat trip to Inchcailloch, one of the Loch’s islands with its own nature reserve.

We stayed for 5 nights commuting into Glasgow for various Commonwealth Games events. Fantastic site next to the Loch, the kids enjoyed larking around in the water... Road noise from the A82 was the only slight downside to our 5 nights here....

when we arrived I was asked for my membership card which I showed, I was then asked for proof of Identity which I had to go back to the Van to retrieve my driving licence, I was then asked to get my wife's membership card, so I went back to van to get my wife's Membership card'' after showing this card I was then asked for proof of Identity for my wife so then had to go back to van to get my wife's driving licence to prove her Identity, After settling on pitch, we were asked by others around if we went through the Interrogation process on our entry to the park, I must say this was our worst experience to date , as we are new members , I think these wardens need a course on customer service.

We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The problem is that there is no where to dump grey water from a tank. Try emptying 80 litres (which equates to 80 kilos) into a bucket! The midges well all I can say is take plenty of repellent and anti-histamine cream as the local shops only sell tablets. Any one interested in geology will find this a useful location to see what happened when the Highland Boundary Fault was active and then go and see if you can find the fault. Yes would go back. As an aside we arrived and when we tried to start the motorhome it would not. We ended up stuck outside reception for some considerable time waiting for the RAC and the problem was simple - the vehicle battery was not holding its charge. Result a new battery. Sorry to anyone who was inconvenienced and thanks to the staff for their assistance

Did not feel the freindly club was practised here.

Did not feel the freindly club was practised here.Felt told off for crossing the open site gate, on arrival pulled into site and went into reception apparently I had comitted an offence by not stopping at the sigh on the gatee which could not be seen as the gate was open, thank goodness I found are membership cards which had slipped to the back of the glove box as I thought we had comitted a second offence in as many minutes. Feel customer skill set is lacking Very popular sight great location despite backing onto noisy road. Washroom spotlessly clean. Short walk to the village of Luss which was nice after a long drive, remember to bring midgie spray we were eaten alive. An
