Where Shropshire meets Wales

Enjoy our peaceful, family run site set in the rolling pasturelands of Shropshire providing you with an excellent base from which to explore the area by car, foot, cycle or public transport.

The north loop of the Shropshire Way covering 297 miles of stunning countryside with extensive views of hills and plains was completed in 2013 and passes within one mile of the site. Walkers and cyclists can also enjoy way-marked trails in Nesscliffe Country Park.

There are two World Heritage Sites within easy reach; Ironbridge Gorge and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and you can also visit the stunning Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfalls, four National Trust properties and five Heritage Railways.

Nearby attractions with something for all the family include Park Hall Countryside Experience, Whittington Castle, Acton Scott, Wroxeter, Lake Vyrnwy, Ellesmere and RAF Museum, Cosford.

Food, Flower, Music, Walking & Literary Festivals take place throughout the year at Oswestry, Shrewsbury & Llangollen.

Our new social room “The Barn” was built in 2013 and regular events are held throughout the year including the Site Birthday Party in August and New Year celebrations, Bingo, Quiz and Games Nights.

A good site for visiting local towns and attractions, being just a few yards from the A5.

A good site for visiting local towns and attractions, being just a few yards from the A5. Park Hall Farm at Oswestry was an excellent day out with our 5 year old granddaughter, with animals, activities all day, inside and outside playgrounds and - best of all - lamb feeding and stroking. A not-to-be missed adventure for children of all ages. Site close to park & ride for Shrewsbury. Site has a pond on one side and is very peaceful.

Visiting a local dog event, site is very convenient from main road. Pleasant aspect, good mains supply and simple to use motorhome service point. The washing facilities were clean and warm for having showers in a very cold February weekend.

We visited this site on a cold weekend. The site is small but nicely set out. The warden talked to us about choice of pitch. We were eager to try out the bus service to Oswestry and Shrewsbury and was advised about timetables. The bus stop is just outside the site. Buses run about every half hour in either direction. The shower block was extremely clean, warm and modern. Next time we visit we would like to explore walking in the area. There are villages/pubs nearby but at this time of year you need transport to get to them. We would definitely visit again.

This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

Site ideal for leaving motor home behind and catching bus to Shrewsbury or Oswerstry, but catch the no 70 not the x70 as this does NOT stop anywhere near the site. Reading the bus timetable on the notice board on site makes you think you can catch either bus, be warned!! Site pleasant enough but entrance a little sad looking, not welcoming, ok it was feb but daffs in pots would have been nice outside reception
