It's a pity the club advertises two dog walks as this encourages anti-social members with dogs.

This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

It's a pity the club advertises two dog walks as this encourages anti-social members with dogs. We had a unit near us with three dogs which were never on leads. Also can the club please advise on the official policy about campers walking through other campers pitches? We wouldn't dream of walking through someone else's pitch but we notice that a lot of other campers have no respect for others privacy. When I said to a 'lady' walking through our pitch "feel free to walk through our pitch" she snapped "Don't be so territorial!" Who is correct? Could we please have some guidance for campers with no manners, possibly a section in the club magazine. Best regards and very many thanks to the Oswestry team for a lovely stay with them.

Our 7 day visit ended up being much longer due to my husband Malcolm being admitted to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with acute cholecystitis. He was allowed out after 11 days so I spent most of my time visiting and did not see as much of the area as planned. I would like to thank Alan, Gail and Peter for their help and understanding and also say thank you to all the offers of help from other members. Very much appreciated.

We were very pleasantly surprised, Our welcome was all that we might have hoped for.

This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

We were very pleasantly surprised, Our welcome was all that we might have hoped for. The facilities and infrastructure all on target. The staff were very helpful. There was no problem with out of hours coming and going. The location is ideal for hill-going, rambling or self-indulgence in Shrewsbury. The Old Three Pigeons staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, particularly with C C C members. We would come again to this site.

This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

We don't usually use club sites as we prefer the less regimented cs sites, but after asking on arrival if we could choose our pitch and asked what we wanted we were given the pitch we would have chosen ourselves. The wardens were friendly and helpful and kept the place very neat and tidy. When I went into ask for a recommendation for somewhere to eat the The Old Three Pigeons at Nescliffe was suggested and a voucher for a 10% discount was offered, it was their Spanish night and food was brilliant and not over priced, it was very busy though so make sure to book. It probably won't make us book club sites more often as they are very expensive and we are very happy with the 5 van sites at a more modest price.
