We went to Legoland, Hatchlands Park for the bluebells, and by train from Weybridge to London. Hint - If you can book your tickets through thetrainline.com. Go off peak. We booked a train for 9.35 up to Waterloo. We asked for a day pass for the underground as well so it was all on one ticket. We just had to go to a machine to enter our card and pick up tickets. I think we paid about 13.50 each so very good value. Try to avoid the rush hour leaving and coming back to the site. HIghley recommended.

Stayed 2 nights at Easter with our 2 grandchildren age 4 & 8 in camper van with awning.
Site was busy but remained peaceful, pitches arewell spaced out and all the amenities were spotlessly clean, warm, and well lit.
Being beside the river was lovely and there was plenty of signage and safety info to remind parents to maintain children's safety near the water.
Our 2 loved the play area and quickly made friends to play with.
The team of staff were friendly efficient and helpful and did a great job of keeping everywhere clean tidy and well stocked.
My only mini suggestion for improvement would be to increase the timed bursts of water from 30 seconds to a minute at least in the ladies showers! I do understand and support the need to not waste water, but trying to wash long hair in 30 second bursts was a little trying.
We would definitely stay at this site again and would recommend to others. GOOD WORK TEAM CHERTSEY.

We stayed here over Easter weekend in a mixture of campervan and tents on an unserviced grass pitch. It's a very well maintained site, clean toilets and showers, washing up areas. Very helpful friendly owners and staff. I bought one days WiFi for the kids 3 each device, they got on it ok, with a good signal and we were at a far away point of the site. We used this as a base to do Thorpe theme park, ten mins away, chessington , 20 mins away and Legoland 20 mins away. Chertsey looks like a nice town with good array of useful shops, there's a few essentials in the site shop but also a spar shop just up road from site entrance, and the bridge pub, we were given a 20% off a meal voucher for the pub in our welcome guide, we didn't try it as weather was good so we barbequed, there's also a reasonably priced snack bar on site doing breakfasts, fish n chips, opening hours vary. It felt safe and secure, and tho it's on the banks of the Thames there's no ongoing footpath access beyond the site area so members of public can't just walk in that way and no moorings on that side either. The river is fenced but a determined toddler would get thru. Most of the pitches are away from the river so plenty of options to keep away from it. Nice little play area in the middle of the site. Lots of wild life and bird life including the parrots, ducks, squirrels. It's an oasis, the air traffic noise stopped between 11pm and 7am and the distant road noise calmed down, it was so quiet that it woke me up and all I could hear was the weir in the river. I would definitely use this site again.
