Chertsey is on the banks of the Thames, just a 30-minute train ride from London.

This lovely riverside campsite is an oasis in the suburbs. It has a really rural feel yet is just a 30-minute train ride to London from the Weybridge station. It’s also perfectly placed for visiting some of the country’s best-loved theme parks (Lego Land, Thorpe Park and Chessington), as well as the world-famous Kew, Wisely and Savill gardens. Hampton Court and Chelsea flower shows are also within easy reach from here.

This popular site is on the banks of the River Thames. Bag yourself a riverside pitch and watch the many pleasure craft sail by. Canoeists can launch from here, while walkers will enjoy the Thames Path Nature Trail, a towpath leading to Staines.

The sheltered site provides great facilities for campers, including a games room with TV and table tennis table.

Worth Noting

The site is outside the Congestion Charge and Low Emission Zones. Fishing is available 16 June-15 March. Towcars must remain on site overnight (due to the possibility of flooding). Super Service pitches have TV aerial sockets. The Weybridge station is located 4 Miles from the campsite. Those with motorhomes who wish to use this station are advised to use a taxi when possible

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

The farm shop in Lyne sells a range of home-grown fruit and vegetables as wellas goose eggs, fresh bread, chutney, jams and more.

We have bought Merlin passes for the kids for xmas so we booked this site as it was close to Thorpe Park, Legoland, Chessington and Central London. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The site was full but felt peaceful and friendly. Lovely local pubs and petrol station near by. Also a great little camping shop 10 mins away for when you have run out of gas Whoops ! We have also had caravans before and been a member of the Caravan club and the staff are usually grumpy and miserable but we had a lovely weeks stay and the staff were happy and friendly and always helpful. We would definatley recommend to friends and more than likely stay here again, Thanks Chertsey.

Just arrived home after a 3 night break at Chertsey. Friendly staff good location with 2 pubs close by (the Bridge Inn even gives 20% discount if you show your camping receipt). Bus opposite Sainsbury took us to Hampton Court in just over an hour (free if your old!). Second day a lovely walk to Shepperton and back along the Thames path

Lovely clean site all the staff were very friendly.

Lovely clean site all the staff were very friendly. good walks along the thames we walked to Staines one day then Weybridge the next lots to see on route boats going up and down and lovely big houses. The 2 pubs in walking distance from site(the kingfisher and the Boat House) both served excellent food. We did have noise from aircraft but it wasn't all the time and it didn't bother us at all. The town of Chertsey was a 15-20 minute walk and had a few shops, pubs .Also an lndian and Chinese restaurant. All in all we had a lovely time at Chertsey will definitely return in the future.

Stayed here for Easter break. Very peaceful and private considering location.

Stayed here for Easter break. Very peaceful and private considering location. Have to get use to planes though, as on flight path lol. Made short trip by taxi (7) to Shepperton station for trip into London Waterloo (13.80 each day pass). Big site on riverside, very short walk to two pubs or well stocked Spar. Driving round the area not too hectic either. Visited Warner Bros Harry Potter World - very interesting even if not a big fan. Fish n Chips and breakfasts available on site over the weekends. Our sole purpose was travelling into Teddington to visit family so this was very handy. I can see us using this site on a regular basis. Can't fault it
