I stayed at this site as it is close to where I was working and B&B or hotel too expensive. I was there in a tent, and found the site very nice staff friendly and helpful. Only downside is that this is a flood prone site, being right on the river and we had an incredible amount of rain so ground was waterlogged and became far too soggy for tents, os had to move to another one, where not so much of an issue. I understand it has reopened for tents again now that it's died up a bit. I enjoyed my stay there and would use it again if I am working in the area or just fancy a few days camping.

my son and i stayed for 5 nights with electric which was high powered the friendliness of the welcome immediately made me feel secure- shown to my pitch and where the facilities were staff always helpful and informative the code for the barrier made the site safe and no traffic movement between 11pm and 7am was really good the shop had a few bits but there is a 24hour garage opposite the entrance the catering van sold takeaway food and breakfast a great bonus the showers were fab, clean and hot with plenty of room inside the cubicle- there was even separate cubicles with sinks to have a wash the games room had pool and table tennis plus tables and chairs great for raining days the play area was great for kids right by the river thames so good for kayaking, boat trips and walks a bigger play area and playing field 10mins away had a fab time, didnt want to to come home and cant wait to come back

We have caravanned over a lot of the UK and many places on the continent for some 30 plus years. We were delighted with the welcome, friendliness and standard of the facilities on this site. It definitely rates among the best we have ever stayed at and the showers block is definitely the best we have ever experienced. We are really locals coming from Guildford but we just wanted a quiet 10 days and weren't all that fussed about local places to visit. But with the Thames right next to the site we did do the Chertsey to Hampton Court trip which took from 11 am to 5 pm with an hour and a half stop at Hampton Court. Local National Trust Houses are nearby and there are some lovely walks in the immediate area. The "Lovely Jubbly" food bar by reception does amazing full english breakfasts and fish and chips and burgers every morning and evening in high season. If anyone is coming to this area for a detailed visit then this site is an ideal base to work from. Our thanks to all the staff that give such good and caring support. I think we might return!!!
