Overview

A tranquil, traditional campsite within the M25 motorway, which has been in the Club's care for more than 90 years.

Please note: Walton On Thames is a Member Only Site.

Our pretty Walton Thames Club campsite ticks all the boxes for campers wishing to experience the hustle and bustle of the capital but camp in the more relaxed setting of the countryside. You would hardly know this leafy green oasis is located within London’s orbital M25 motorway.

The campsite is well laid out and surprisingly tranquil and spacious. There’s an excellent dog walk on site and numerous opportunities for dogs and walkers to stretch their legs off site, including a pleasant riverside walk into Hersham. Look out for the site’s resident parakeets.

Horse riding, golf, Nordic walking and llama trekking are all activities that can be enjoyed within the vicinity of the campsite.

Train stations at nearby Walton on Thames and Hersham make London and its attractions very easily accessible. Family days out not in the capital can be enjoyed at Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland theme parks. The popular Hampton Court and Claremont Landscape Garden are close by.

Lovely site.

Lovely site. Friendly welcome from Tracey, dogs got a biscuit, too! This is a nice spacious site, camping on grass with electric is great as pitches are large and not formally marked, so a roomy feel. The CDP deserves a mention all of its own. Well equipped and clean! Well-stocked information room - the local Chinese takeaway delivers to site - we gave that a try - recommended. Having the onsite parakeets is a treat. An enjoyable stay at a lovely site, thank you!

You have to drive down a lane & open the gate (use side gate) to gain entry.

You have to drive down a lane & open the gate (use side gate) to gain entry. Spaces to park if needed. Stop at reception and received all your info & then go & enjoy. You can walk/cycle to the local tesco express (about a mile away) & just across from tesco's, there is a local cafe. Just another mile up, you can get to the High Street, with all the normal shops, restaurants, etc. (Although don't eat in the pizza express, it's very expensive & not that great) Would deffo come back to this campsite again.
