Enjoy water, wildlife, cycling and walking from this Midland's-based Club Site.

Our Kingsbury Water Park Club campsite is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the industrial Midlands. Bordered by the lovely Water Park, this campsite is the perfect setting for a leisurely break. It’s a spacious site with large, level pitches. The clean, modern facilities benefit from underfloor heating. But perhaps the most engaging thing about this site is its location.

The adjacent Water Park ensures there are numerous activities right on hand. The water – there’s plenty of it – provides canoeing and sailing opportunities. Kingsbury is also one of the largest and most diverse fisheries in the Midlands. Walking and cycling tracks meander through the park and for the younger family members there are two play areas, a small train and a children’s farm. Nature lovers are in for a treat too, as the water is a haven for many birds and mammals.

The Outdoor Education Centre opposite the campsite entrance offers a variety of activities including abseiling, canoeing, climbing, rafting and more.

A walk along the canal towpath will bring you to the Dog and Doublet pub, Middleton Hall and an RSPB reserve while further afield the city of Birmingham is great for shopping. It also has a Sea Life Centre, museums and a vibrant nightlife.

The Black Country Living Museum and Cadbury World are also worth visiting and, of course, just a stone’s throw from the campsite is the NEC which hosts numerous concerts and exhibitions.

This site is in a lovely location, close to canal and water park, the staff were friendly and the site well kept. But unfortunately we couldn't get past the constant drone of traffic noise coming from the M42, so sadly we will not be returning to this site.

Now we have our own campervan we will visit this site a lot more - we think it's great. Our children/grandchildren go there all the time with their caravans, they all enjoy it. It's a lovely site to go to when the school holidays are over as well for a more relaxing atmosphere There are plenty of activities available at Kingsbury Water Park itself for both adults and children of varying ages.

we only took up caravaning this year.

This review is for Kingsbury Water Park

we only took up caravaning this year.we booked this site as part of a group who were celebrating my nieces 4th birthday. i phoned up to book my pitch and was advised to join the caravan and camping club to get a cheaper rate ( i think the ladies name was brenda ) , well thanks for that, this saved me about 60 minus the 37 to join the c&cc ( which i wanted to join anyway ) so an overall saving of about 25. on our arrival a very friendly chap booked us in ( brendas husband , i think) and then hopped on his push bike to show us to our pitch and was very helpfull. in our group there were about 7 or 8 tents and our caravan . we were given a nice corner of the site to ourselves ( i imagine it was so that we didnt disturb the other campers. although i dont think we were rowdy ) the site was very well maintained with excellent ( and clean ) toilets and showers . the site is situated within kingsbury water park and i recommend that families ,with children, make the effort and walk the 10 mins to the park area , where there is a great play area , little steam train and a visitor centre with cafe and activity centre etc. our kids loved it. on your walk back to the camp site, take the time to stop of at the peddalos, the kids will love it. there is a great pub , on the canal , called the dog and doublet. it is about about a 10 min walk and well worth a visit. there are also the villages of whittacre and kingsbury which are only a short drive away, where there are shops and plenty of pubs. all in all a great weekend and thanks to all at the camp site

A nice site with easy walking access to Kingsbury Water Park.

This review is for Kingsbury Water Park

A nice site with easy walking access to Kingsbury Water Park. 2 toilet blocks means there is always 1 open. Fish & Chip van on a Friday. Small play area for children which is fenced off. Site can be noisy until quite late and children riding their bikes extremely fast on the roads means we needed to carefully watch our younger children. Shop is quite poorly stocked and expensive so only used for pocket money sweets.
