Enjoy water, wildlife, cycling and walking from this Midland's-based Club Site.

Our Kingsbury Water Park Club campsite is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the industrial Midlands. Bordered by the lovely Water Park, this campsite is the perfect setting for a leisurely break. It’s a spacious site with large, level pitches. The clean, modern facilities benefit from underfloor heating. But perhaps the most engaging thing about this site is its location.

The adjacent Water Park ensures there are numerous activities right on hand. The water – there’s plenty of it – provides canoeing and sailing opportunities. Kingsbury is also one of the largest and most diverse fisheries in the Midlands. Walking and cycling tracks meander through the park and for the younger family members there are two play areas, a small train and a children’s farm. Nature lovers are in for a treat too, as the water is a haven for many birds and mammals.

The Outdoor Education Centre opposite the campsite entrance offers a variety of activities including abseiling, canoeing, climbing, rafting and more.

A walk along the canal towpath will bring you to the Dog and Doublet pub, Middleton Hall and an RSPB reserve while further afield the city of Birmingham is great for shopping. It also has a Sea Life Centre, museums and a vibrant nightlife.

The Black Country Living Museum and Cadbury World are also worth visiting and, of course, just a stone’s throw from the campsite is the NEC which hosts numerous concerts and exhibitions.

Worth Noting

I wish to put on record our thanks to the site assistants Dave and Freda for lending us a camping heater when the heating in our motorhome broke down on our arrival at the site. Without their kindness and help we would have had to drive 3 hours back to our home in Lincolnshire as November in a motorhome with no heating is no joke! The site is ideal for anyone visiting events at the NEC being just 20 minutes away down the M42 .

We found the site to be brilliant for us as we like to park up the motorhome and use bikes or public transport. We cycled along the towpath to Tamworth and had a lovely time there and cycled back an easy flat route. We did walk to the local pub but you do need a torch as it was dark when we came out food reasonable with specials board we didn't eat but the staff where very friendly. We will return in the warmer days!

It was our first time away in our motorhome and we couldn't have received a better welcome from the staff at Kingsbury Water Park. Dave (2), went above and beyond to make sure we knew what we were doing and gave us loads of useful information. Although we did lots of research before we went, we would have struggled without his input - things are so much easier when shown first hand. The site is well kept and facilities are very clean. There is plenty to do in Kingsbury Water Park, some great cycling areas for families, nice and flat. We did get lost a few times though! Kingsbury Village is only 20 minutes walk from the site and has a few pubs and eateries.
