Lovely site, with very friendly staff.

This review is for Postern Hill - Wiltshire

Lovely site, with very friendly staff. We stayed after a very wet spell of weather, so the site was quite muddy...but nothing that some boots couldn't handle. The staff were great, and helped get the van out of the mud. Lovely walk into Marlborough, and then a stroll around the forest. The kids loved the listening for birds and animals...woodpeakers were the highlight. Perfect for a weekend if you want some gentle walking, and have your own facilities.

This is a gorgeous site indeed.

This review is for Postern Hill - Wiltshire

This is a gorgeous site indeed. We too had an epic break, helped by the good weather, but the site does a lot too. Very friendly wardens, relaxed about pitching locations. However, although scrupulously clean, the facilities really are just a Portacabin, and NO showers. The site is crying out for an upgrade! But we liked it - lots of great walking (our dog liked that, too; and easy access to Marlborough. But why do the wardens not offer local information leaflets in Reception? And bus timetables? We would have bought leaflets - a trick missed here! Site does get busy with families at weekend - lots of rug rats! But all polite, and definitely not couch potatoes!
