Relax in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside at our campsite near the canal.

Gentle walks and cycle rides are top of the to do list from our Wolverley Club campsite. Surrounded by the stunning Worcestershire countryside and with the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal just 60 metres from site means you really can enjoy life in the slow lane.

The Lock Inn adjacent to the canal and a couple of minutes’ walk from the campsite provides an excellent resting place to enjoy a pint (or frozen cider) and partake in a spot of gongoozling. There are some lovely walks to be enjoyed along the canal towpath especially as there is Springfields country park near the canal were fishing is available and a great play park for the children. Stop off in Kidderminster and, as well as shops and eateries, you’ll find the Severn Valley Railway. Board a steam train and enjoy the 16 mile journey through glorious countryside to Bridgnorth.

There are numerous opportunities for family days out from the campsite. Explore 1,000 years of history at Hartlebury Museum near Kidderminster. Bodenham Aboretum and Earth Centre , Wolverley and Arley Aboretum, Arley village are wonderlands of trees and shrubs and for animal lovers the West Midland Safari and Leisure Park, Dudley Zoo and Rays Farm are not to be missed.

Back at camp, there’ still more to do. There’s a playing field for youngsters to let off steam adjacent to the campsite and a large recreation room with table tennis and a pool table keep children occupied in bad weather. There’s an excellent dog walk and a good range of facilities including showers, laundry and site shop.

This site is has been a favourite of ours for many years and the updates to facilities means "the Best" just keeps getting better. lovely village near by, tearoom and pub adjacent to the site means there is plent of opportunity to gain a few pounds then a chance to walk or cycle them off again along the very pretty canal that runs near to the site, plenty of pleasure boats passing through the Locks provide entertainment for the less active. I look forward to my next visit.

Great walks away from the site in either direction, along the canal or over the fields. 2 great local tea shops one in Wolverley village and the other next to the lock Pub. Easy walk in to Cookley or Kidderminster for shopping or just a walk. Just a great site for relaxing or local attractions.

The cleanliness in facility blocks is better than hospital quality, Staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. You can walk in 5 minutes to The Lock pub by the canal where the Steaks are good. Walk along the towpath either way as far as you wish. The Severn Valley Steam Railway is a good day and so is the West Midland Safari Park. Arley Arboretum Gardens is well worth a visit. There are woodland walks, a Maze to lose the kids in! and the Italian Garden is spectacular. Don't miss it. All in all a super site, super clean facilities, fantastic staff. Plenty of local attractions, stunning scenery and a good old local pub within walking distance.
