Ideal campsite for exploring local market towns or walks on the Malvern Hills.

Blackmore Club campsite enjoys a peaceful setting in the Worcestershire countryside with stunning views across to the Malvern Hills. It combines plenty of green open space with more sheltered pitches around the site perimeter. As well as clean, modern toilet blocks, the excellent on site facilities include a recreation room with pool table, dog walk and children’s play area.

One of the appeals of this award-wining site is its proximity to the Malvern Hills – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ¬- which offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities on over 100 miles of paths and bridleways. In fact, so popular is the area for walking, it hosts a nine-day walking festival. If you prefer walks of the not so challenging type, the pretty village of Hanley Swan, with a choice of two pubs, is just a mile’s stroll from the site.

If you want to travel a bit further afield but leave your vehicle behind, there’s a bus stop just outside the site with an hourly service to Malvern, Upton and Worcester.

Worth Noting

We stayed here in Jan 2015.

We stayed here in Jan 2015. Village is a short walk along path with pub, butchers & post office. The site is pretty and well kept with clean and tidy shower blocks. Good dog walk around the outside of the site trhough the woods. Treeline areas and open areas make this site very attractive. Picthes are big and level. Will be returning when next in the area.

A fantastic location for a club site with wonderful countryside and local pubs within walking distance. On a positive note the local pub (the Swan) serves lovely food and the dog walk around the boundary of the site through the trees was brilliant. We will certainly use the site again. However whilst the site was generally in acceptable condition only one facilities block (with three showers in both Gents and Ladies) was open and the site was full. This left us having to pick an early or late time to shower to avoid multiple visits. It would be helpful if the other block could be opened in winter when the site is fully booked. Although problems with the site electrics tripping out for two of the four nights we stayed was a bit of a nuisance, the most disappointing issue was some members using the gents toilet facilities couldn't be bothered to clean up their mess and left it for other members or site staff to clear up for them. Would they do that at home I wonder !

Had a few nights here over Xmas. Well worth a visit.

Had a few nights here over Xmas. Well worth a visit. Even in winter the Malvern Hills are awe-inspiring and beautiful. Park near British Camp and walk to Worcester Beacon at 425m, the highest point in the Malverns for some spectacular views on both sides. Allow two hours each way. Upton-on-Severn is nice too (walk along the Severn), although you are spoilt for choice when it comes to quaint villages and rural pubs. Lovely area for walking and cycling - flat. The site itself is level, well maintained, clean and very welcoming. The staff were brilliant. Pity there aren't more waste/recycling bins around the site though - but I'll be back nevertheless.

Could not have had a more welcoming arrival. Staff were just brilliant.

Could not have had a more welcoming arrival. Staff were just brilliant. Even wet, grass was superb. Cleanliness outstanding, even by Club standards. Helpfulness, including giving written directions, could not be bettered. All in all, even though I was down to work in the area, the site, in spite of the weather, made me feel as though I was on holiday. I cannot praise this site highly enough. My thanks to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable.
