Charmouth - Dorset Located in West Dorset, our caravan holiday homes are located in a spacious, beautiful area of the site. Close to River Cottage HQ, and right in the heart of the Jurassic Coastline, our pretty Charmouth Site gives you the chance to enjoy the safe, sandy beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis which are both a mere 3 miles away, as well as great resorts including Beer to the west and West Bay and Weymouth to the east. There are an abundance of walks and cycling routes in the area, and the site staff can provide you with ideas if you fancy venturing a little further afield. If fossil hunting is on your holiday to do list, visit the Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre for information. The beach here is a good place to start your hunt for fossils or head east from the campsite to the famous Chesil Beach. For days out the beautiful Forde Abbey and gardens are a must. Abbotsbury Swannery is ideal for children or for something different, enjoy the stunning Axe Valley from the Seaton Tramway's narrow gauge tram. The Holiday Homes are open from March to early January, allowing you to enjoy spring flowers, summer sands, autumn woodland walks and stormy seas.
