Bailey Approach Advance 615: Cooking

I can’t claim to be anything other than a basic cook and, though I’m a little ashamed to admit it, my idea of a quick campsite meal is to pop a ready meal in the microwave. Fortunately my daughter Sabrina has developed an interest in creating tasty, healthy dishes from scratch, so when we went to the New Wine festival at the Bath and West Showground this summer we didn’t go hungry. The Club magazine’s long-term test motorhome, the Bailey Approach Advance 615, has plenty of storage space around the kitchen (as you can read in Editorial Assistant Claire Stevens’ feature) but in its standard form it doesn’t have a microwave. Add to this our lack of hook-up at the Showground and my normal mode of cooking was a non-starter.
